Collembola/Springtails

We're discussing springtails/collem bolla, not Scabies. Although some of the symptoms are the same and some people with springtails are misdiagnosed with scabies.. (probably the reason this topic is in the scabies forum) ...the external treatments for scabies- DO NOT WORK for this. She is replying to my question about being more specific about the enzymes, and not pushing any websites or just one specific product- so I doubt she's actually trying to cash in although I know plenty of people do push their own product here. I am suspicious of the chiropractor who said they "live" in the enzymes... because he/she is suggesting treating with enzymes. These things are both internal and external, unlike scabies- although some don't have internal symptoms. There is a couple who treated collembola with tetracyceline(sp) and sucked them out of the skin with brewers yeast after and while treating their home. Brewers yeast on the skin makes sense because they feed off of fungus and mold while living in the "wild" and they would probably be much more interested in yeast than the stuff housed in our bodies. I ate a sandwich last night and after eating half of it, my throat, hand which was holding the sandwich and the arm I got the bread out with, were burning and I got my typical "sunburn " I get, only when there is an area of infestation, or if someone has a fan on in one of the "bad rooms". For 5 hours, I ate anti-paracitic foods and liquids and did some diatomatious earth. Before I realized they were airborne in a slight draft... and microscopic, I couldn't figure out why my arms and legs were weakening and loosing circulation, but now that my skin has become so sensitive due to past infestations, I literally get a sunburn indoors on exposed areas when they're around and NOW- I can feel where they are by the almost immediate burning sensation, and how they feel in my nose and mouth when I breathe. I've become the bug detector of the family. I just want to reiterate that I think this is one reason it's so difficult to rid cars and homes- they can stay in their tiniest incarnation and I've read in the entomology- that they can even regress to a smaller incarnation after molting, if the environment dictates. Unless people continue treating after they stop feeling them, they'll probably come back. After the research I've done, I think that keeping Diatomatious Earth as a constant treatment, home and body, is a good idea, even after they are believed to be gone. How does Ivermectin work exactly?

Have you considered collembola- (springtails)? Sounds like the symptoms may fit. If so, you need to take care of your environment pretty quick.  (Sep 5, 2013 | post #38)

QUOTE who="Angel "]<quoted text> The parasites are in your enzymes. Won't show ip in all blood tests. You must treat your immune system to beat this. Tryst me. A chiropractic physician who does magnetic readings will help you. The test is done monthly and will show the fungus , parasites and problems with your immune system. Stay away from wheat , dairy , sit and sugar. Ear tons if leafy veges. Green food drinks. Protein foods. Eggs work wonders because of the sulphur. Tale primal defense probiotic, immuzyne, multi time, milk thistle. See my comments from the other night about treatment for hair. Use neem lotions and shampoos and neem oil. And neem pills. [/QUOTE] Are you saying that they feed off the enzymes in your body? ..Could you be more specific? My daily regime: supplements: I've upped my dose of vit C gradually to 6000mg, st. johns wart, cinnamon, tumeric, calcium, magnesium, zinc, blue green algae, papaya enzyme, grape seed complex, was taking ecinacea but out now and will replace with something else. Liquids: oxygen drops in water, green drinks, carrot juice, coconut oil-(on body as well, helps alot!). Other: tons of oregano, pumpkin seeds, only use stevia as sweetner, kiefer and greek yogurt. Also: Miricle 11 soap is an enzyme based soap that seems to work on the skin head and hair immediately. It removed layers of old and infected skin in the first 3 days of use and unless re-infested by the environment or others, the relief lasts for hours, even without the coconut oil. I believe that the soap pulls them out like coconut oil. They also have a mineral/enzyme body treatment I just ordered, should be here tomorrow. It's used internally and externally, is said to repel bugs, keep skin healthy and not dry it out. People use it as a moisturizer oxygen/ph elevator, and allot of other strange uses. You can also use the soap to wash clothes with and it seems to help. Haven't tried using just that- don't want to waste it on clothing- and I'm just hand washing one non porous set every night with dawn and a spot of Miracle 11 at the moment due to re-infestation from floor under dryer. Ah, my package just arrived early!!!!! I'm excited to try the new stuff. Thanks for the info, any more ideas or info will be greatly appreciated, I'm a sponge at the moment- no pun intended :-/ I'll try to check out your other posts soon. Good health! writtenunder  (Sep 4, 2013 | post #272)

Apologies for the tone of my previous message. Must have needed to get that out. I didn't get into many of the other symptoms, but you guys seem to have covered most.. although I did have a bundle of them in my throat that got pissed, (because I was shoving turmeric and raw garlic down my throat)and started pouring out of my nose and throat. I puked for 3 days, finally forcing them down into my guts because I was tired of not being able to breathe well.. thinking that they wouldn't survive the trip. This seems to be what lead to the stomach/heart trouble and my inability to swallow. Also lead to the diagnosis of laryngopharyngeal reflux (LPR)- which is getting better. I can eat now. :) List of meds that some have said work and have also been used in combination with each other. Tetracycline Diatomatious Earth Ivermectin Albenazal (I forgot.. I WAS also given this by an ER doc which helped a bit) Blessings and best wishes to all! writtenunder  (Sep 4, 2013 | post #269)

Ok, how long did the dr. keep you on Ivermectin, (Stromectol)? How many weeks, etc. Who is your doctor or where can I find one who won't dismiss me as delusional? Would your doctor be willing to refer people to other doctors who will take them seriously if out of the area? I've been in the E.R. and hospital over 8 times with various life threatening symptoms. Heart almost stopping at night because of various localized areas of internal bleeding, throat having large openings into sinus cavities, (couldn't swallow food for a month), intestines falling due to liquid diet, vision and hearing disrupted due to movement through sinus areas being completely infested... and more! One dr. prescribed one 5 pill dose of Ivermectin, (which began to work) out of sympathy- thinking that it may cure the delusion, bugs were dripping off of me in the hospital and everyone who got within reaching distance of the bed began to itch their head- but I'M delusional. I brought in hair follicle samples, the bugs I puked up for 3 days after something shifted in my throat, tape samples, skin samples, only a small square was cut out of a bag of the puke on my last day there as they were desperately trying to get me out of the hospital although I could still barely walk and had just began to eat-(still getting food into my sinus's)... I had no one to be released to, so they PAYED for a cab to take me to the next town where my husband was working! I guess the springtails got to be too much for even them. Most of my family still believes I'm delusional because that's what the doctors said although the exterminator we hired took it very seriously when he found evidence of springtails and heard about my symptoms. I had to temporarily move out of state until my husband relocates because the demolition of the abandon house next door was re-infesting the house daily. He's living in the car because we had to leave sooner than we could acquire a new place in our price range. Now I've infested the home and potentially the people I love, because I had faith that the Ivermectin would work. Had not done enough research. I not only need to find assistance for myself, but now for potentially 7 to 15 people close to me, who I've witnessed scratching. Anyone out there who can help in the Napa, Ca. and/or Oklahoma city/Tulsa area would be greatly appreciated!!! The hospital and insurance that screwed me is Kaiser Permanente. Even the parasitologist refused to take a skin sample because of my record and previous bias. I have 2 tubes of Ivermectin for horses that I acquired from a farm supply store in case of emergency, but I would rather not chance screwing up the dosage. Ive seen 2 more doctors after my relocation who would not write a script. They're more concerned about their own liability, than a stranger off the street. I am taking D-E - and a number of herbs and remedies for internal parasites, I'm only eating food, seasonings and teas which are anti-parisitic, drinking loads of Kiefer Yogurt every day- Coconut oil- Miracle 11 enzyme soap.. but in an environment I can't control or keep clean.. or daily wash my sheets with borax- vinegar,.. etc. I'm extremely limited until my husband finds a new place. Help. http://www.headlic e.org/news/2004/de lusory.htm  (Sep 3, 2013 | post #268)
