Election Poll, Sept 2011 - Valley, AL

I gotta ask, Why isn't Ron Paul in this poll? Herman Cain?  (Sep 19, 2011 | post #2)

Election Poll, Sept 2011 - Blairsville, GA

Who is making Progress . . . . you certainly aren't talking about Mr. Obama, heheh. Obama is good at talking . . .and that's about it, thankfully. He's befuddled that his yacking from behind a podium gets him knowhere. It's the first Job he's ever had where he couldn't blame someone else for poor performance . . .though he keeps trying. Mr. Obama: "It's Congresses fault! It's the Tea Parties fault! It's Bushes Fault." Nope Barrack . . . it's Your Fault, it's Barney Franks Fault, it's Maxine Waters Fault, Harry Reids' fault, and your fault. Yes, I said "Your fault" twice . . . .exactly.  (Sep 19, 2011 | post #4)

Well, Mitt is essentially a democrat, not even sure how he ended up in the GOP. Mandatory Health Care , Anti second amendment, it's Bizarre. Rick Perry . . . dang . . . he campaigned for Al Gore, nuff said . . .how did here get there either? I vote Michelle, begrudgingly. At least she is an actual Conservative  (Sep 19, 2011 | post #1)

Okay, I gotta say, if the "New Headmaster" follows what was outlined in your link . . . I wouldn't let my child within a mile of the place. . . .That's assuming your link was actually accurate information. I have no problem with a minister being the headmaster, I just don't want a head master who is a member of a nutball cult. Your website link is describing a nutball cult. If accurate, that's a very real problem.  (Sep 18, 2011 | post #4)

Hey JJ, I notice you following me like a whipped puppy around the internet, heheh. It's kind of pathetic, but if you like getting spanked like a monkey in multiple venues, hey . . .whatever floats your boat! I'm not a 'tea bagger', not a bigot, not a racist. I suppose I could just make up a few disparaging things to call you out of thin air too. It's pointless and not very interesting though, so I won't do it. Writing Fairy tales seems to be more . . .well . . .your game JJ, heheh. I don't think I'm "better than anyone else", though clearly, I'm better than you specifically. And probably by virtually any measure. I do have to tend to my chickens though, but yelling angrily . . . at the sky or anything else . . . not really my thing. Note that I'm not frantically trying to follow you around the internet . . . . you are frantically following me around the internet. And you feel I'm the loser, heheh. Okey-Dokey!  (Sep 18, 2011 | post #18)

Cyber Harrassment

Typical . . . a flaming coward hiding behind his/her anonymity to launch an off topic, personal attack on not just me, but my sweetie, who hasn't hurt anyone. You're pretty pathetic, whoever you are. Sleazy cowards . . . what can ya do? My name is Ron McClellan . . . and you are a limp-wristed coward. Care to step out from underneath the pink frilly skirt of anonymity? Naaaaa, of course not, heheh.  (Sep 12, 2011 | post #47)

I remember when the community could be helpful in raising a kid. When I was a kid, we worried about neighbors telling our folks what mischief they might see us doing. Tell the neighbors what ya saw their kid doing nowadays, and they tell you to mind your own business and/or stop lieing about their precious little one, would never do that anyway. I also can't help but notice our parks, ballfields, basketball courts, etc. in this area are often empty. There certainly doesn't appear to be any shortage of stuff kids can do around here, not sure what else the community should even do. I will point out that one problem we have nowadays, and it's actually pretty complex, is kids can't just go out in the woods and such. A HUGE problem that was clearly an unintended consequence, was when we eliminated the necessity for landowners to put up "No Trespassing" signs. When I was a boy, if it wasn't posted, ya could pretty much just go in the woods and build a fort, or fish in a pond, hunt squirrel, stuff like that. Landowners who didn't like that could put up their signs. Now kids really don't have a lot to do except play videogames, or sports. That has caused WAY more problems for society in it's ripple-effect than most people think about. It isn't the whole problem, but it is part of it.  (Sep 7, 2011 | post #16)

Gotta feel a little sorry for'em . . .must be sad to have to fake it, just to get someone to agree them. I play along though, if I'm bored. No problem dealing with a fools opinion, even under 12 different names, lol.  (Sep 7, 2011 | post #45)

Unfortunately, I suspect that "most" people on here are really just 2 or 3 people taking advantage of the lax rules on multiple screen names. That's why this place sucks.  (Sep 7, 2011 | post #43)

Actually it's parents who do too much for kids that is creating a generation of selfish unappreciative brats that causes the problems. I support the kids. Go outside, find some buddies and play baseball or something. Climb a tree . . .rake leaves to earn a little cash instead of expecting me to buy it for ya, stuff like that. Some of what ya said toward the end of your diatribe was kinda true though. Cursing all of us . . .probably not the best solution though.  (Sep 6, 2011 | post #12)

Funny this topic still has a little life left in it. The Original poster was whining about me simply winning an argument . . .supposed cyber-bullying. I see a few other morons still believe that someone making more sense than they do in a disagreement or even taunting them a little should be classified as cyber-bullying. Clue: It ain't. It's YOU not being able to support your position or having a thin skin. The original poster was actually guilty of Cyberstalking, ironically enough. It might have been scary to some folks, but me . .well . . .Sending me an ominous map to show "you know where I live" pretty much means that if you intend to act on it . . . it's a map to where the coroner can swing by to pick up your body. Stalking me . . .bad idea, heheh. Cyberbullying me . . . not even really possible, Since I'm not a crybaby. Gitt'em Cowboy67!  (Sep 5, 2011 | post #38)

Russell Co. Republican Committee?

Snyder, Koweta . . .you are aware of the reality it was the Democrats who originally led the Charge to raid the Social Security coffers, aren't you? Socialist Frankie Roosevelt got the U.S. hooked on the "S.S. drug" then later on the Dems decided to raid the cash stash. And you are worried about the RNC? I don't like ANY politicians in charge of my money Republican or Democrat, but dang, the Republicans are certainly not the ones to single out, lol. It was also primarily under the Clinton Administration that Our Manufacturing soul was sold to the Chinese.  (Aug 30, 2011 | post #4)
