I am really happy to hear that black members are openly speaking out about allowing Warren of all people to speak at Dr.Kings church. This commercial is meant to fuel transphobia. It is disgusting and should be removed from the air. A true transwoman who is living in her gender would not present that way and enter a bathroom. What's Wrong With Standardized Tests?

What these tests measure is accumulated knowledge and not intelligence. They require no thought,, only exposure to certain elements in society. For example, a question regarding a symphony answered incorrectly does not mean that the person in question does not have valid musical knowledge, it simply means that they have not been exposed to symphonies. 'Focus on the Family' Going Back on Dr. Phil Show!

What is sick about Dr.Phil is that he hides is homophobic, trans phobic and anti-woman agenda behind this down home common sense rhetoric. So many believe that because the man is credentialed that he knows what he is talking about. He is one of the worst haters on television and yet gets away with promoting this nice guy image. The point is you idiot that it is not convincing. These characters play upon the negative social constructions of black womanhood. One other thing, none of these men are gay or identify as trans women or drag queens, therefore this critique is hardly homophobic. Pastor Rick Warren's AIDS Solution- Abstinence

Obama allowing this man to speak at his inauguration has only given him more clout than he deserves. When are these idiots going to finally get the fact that their abstinence programs do not work? If we really want to fight AIDS we need to be promoting safe sex. I hope that after the 20th he will fade into the wood work never to be heard from again. Conyers hopes to block CNN's Gupta

The reason I don't want Gupta is because is so obviously fat phobic. It is his constant refrain on CNN. Of course there are no other health issues we should be dealing with right? Also his approach does not deal with the social issues that lead to obesity like poverty. He simply blames it on the individual. Does it not occur to the man that a box of Kraft dinner or a bag of chips is often cheaper than a head of broccoli and yet it is all the fault of the individual.  (Jan 8, 2009 | post #1)
