Product review: Clif Bar - energy bars / protein bars / n...

I agree cliff bars are good. Variety is the key when using energy bars for long distance endurance events. Eating the same flavor gets hard to stomach after 6 hours plus. Find your top three flavors buy a box of each and mix and match during long training sessions and races. Cheers Willy6 http://www.coachin  (Oct 19, 2011 | post #3)

Weight Training

New Workout Kosama

Consistency is the key for any exercise program. I love how people think great I've joined a gym now the weight will drop off and fitness levels will increase. Hard work people, that is what is required over a long time frame. The above comments about various programs all have merit and will achieve results provided people consistently train and keep the 'bad' foods to a minimum. After burn is the new buzz word. That is getting the body to use energy long after the exercise has ceased. It's all about increasing the bodies metabolism. High intensity interval training (circuits in gyms) do the job. I use TABATA training heaps. Stay passionate about your exercise and gym programs and we won't be seeing each other at the medical care facility any time soon.
