Prove there's a god.

I sometimes think of life more as "What if we're all just crazy fucknuts smearing sh%t on ourselves and we've made up our entire world as a very elaborate hallucination? " But, I digress...  (Jul 25, 2013 | post #644898)

Nine Inch Nails - Tension 2013 Tour

Text Copyrighted to NINwiki Nine Inch Nails Live 2013 is a Nine Inch Nails tour planned for 2013 and 2014 in support of Hesitation Marks. It was announced on February 25, 2013 via Pitchfork: Nine Inch Nails are touring this year. I was working with Adrian Belew on some musical ideas, which led to some discussion on performing, which led to some beard-scratching, which (many steps later) led to the decision to re-think the idea of what Nine Inch Nails could be, and the idea of playing a show. Calls were made to some friends, lots of new ideas were discussed, and a show was booked - which led to another, which somehow led to a lot of shows. The band is reinventing itself from scratch and will be comprised of Eric Avery, Adrian Belew, Alessandro Cortini, Josh Eustis, Ilan Rubin, and me. The first shows will begin this summer, followed by a full-on arena tour of the US this fall, and lots of other dates worldwide to follow through 2014. Lots of details and dates to come. See you soon. TR On July 6, 2013, it was announced that the US arena leg of the tour would be named Tension, starting from September 28 in St. Paul, MN.[1] On May 15, 2013, Eric Avery announced via Facebook that he was leaving the lineup: "its with very mixed emotions i tell you all that im pulling out of NIN. i know. its been a tough call and i don't know if its the right one. but i really want to focus on my musical life here in la, on film work in particular. as the tour dates kept growingÂ… i just got overwhelmed. i just got home from a year of heavy travel with garbage, the idea of leaving town for another year and a half, and with all the intensity that nails demandsÂ… fortunately my friend Trent understands all this and appreciated my pulling the plug now instead of deep into 2013 and 14. go get em gentlemen."[2 ] It was originally assumed that Josh Eustis would only be playing keyboards, but after Eric Avery was no longer available to play bass, a rehearsal photo revealed that Eustis had apparently also taken on bass duties. On May 17, Trent Reznor announced via nin.com that Robin Finck was back in the band: "I am proud to announce that the tour lineup now includes the incredible Robin Finck. The addition of Robin to the mix of players I've assembled makes this band incredibly powerful and versatile. We are deep in the rehearsal process and it feels exciting and great to be back at this. Lots of information, surprises and sweat headed your way. Stay tuned! TR. Nine Inch Nails: Adrian Belew / Alessandro Cortini / Josh Eustis / Robin Finck / Trent Reznor / Ilan Rubin" On May 28, Reznor released a statement about a new Nine Inch Nails album. When Pitchfork posted this info, there was also an update stating that Adrian Belew had contributed to the album but would not be going on tour.[3] The latter was later also confirmed by Belew, stating that "it didn't work".[4] ---- Thoughts? I've already got tickets.  (Jul 25, 2013 | post #1)

Prove there's a god.

The major question I have to ask to Christians is; why do you believe in God given all the tragedies that happen in this world which he does nothing about? Not abhorring anyone's faith, just some common sense.  (Jul 25, 2013 | post #644880)

What are you talking about, dude? We all know Topix staff condone rudeness. *trollface*  (Dec 12, 2012 | post #1203)

There are a lotta nuts on here

You "choose" to be courteous with them? This implies you otherwise deep down have little respect for atheists. If this was a flaw in your comment that you didn't intend, I humbly apologize.  (Dec 12, 2012 | post #376)

For me personally, I was consistently brainwashed by Bible thumpers and normal Christians alike. Even today, after I told my mom about me converting to atheism, she still tries to convince me to revert back to Christianity, which is downright obsessive compulsive in my view.  (Dec 12, 2012 | post #374)

To the OP: until you provide some reasonable and justified claims for your statements, I will continue to believe you are spewing nothing but unjustified hyperbole. Here's a better question: why can't Christians make a positive case for their beliefs? I've seen more Christians blasting at Atheists (and I, to begrudgingly admit, was one of those for awhile, in 2007-10 until I somewhat ironically saw the light) for their beliefs than I've seen the vice versa. Why are Christians so overprotective of their beliefs is a more rational question. tl;dr OP is a fagawt  (Dec 12, 2012 | post #1200)

Sakib vs. Parat000 knolage test!

This has got to be the most hilarious thread I have ever participated in. Simply stunning. My pure stupidity in the arguments absolutely brought tears to my eyes from the hilarity. Thanks for the good laugh, SLDT, even though you probably won't see this. Thank god I'm more mature than I was then.5  (Oct 25, 2012 | post #298)

Coprolite... so hard to understand.

All of these threads here are akin to one monkey flinging shit at itself while a few others try desperately to stop it, until they too realize it's pointless to keep fighting because the first monkey is only bitching at itself.  (Jul 29, 2012 | post #17)
