Withdrawal of Bible Literacy Project Endorsement

I sincerely hope nobody will reply to feed your solipsistic protagonism mania. This debate is getting more and more useless. I think the audience is really boring about your beliefs. Thank you  (Jun 3, 2008 | post #94)

I think you do not know it: the Rule of Three is not a Law as the christian commandments are. This is a common misunderstanding: the 3-fold Law is something like an explanation of a law of nature. It deals with actions and how these affect the cosmos and the apparent source of these actions. As an explanation, it ought to be tested by the skeptical and disregarded by those who feel it inaccurate. So... no blind obedience to anyone and/or anything, sorry.  (Jun 1, 2008 | post #47)

Well, most of religions have prayers and initiation ceremonies. But the principles are quite different. Your dualities between wicca and christianity are opposite or differences, not similarities. Christianity do not celebrates solstices, anyway they have incorporated many Jewish and pagan cultural elements, and Wicca has a Rede, sometimes we refere to the Rule of Three, but no karma, that's Indic. To hate men/woman is not a wiccan core belief. But Christianity stated that man is Superior, see Bible 1st Corinthians 11,3 "But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man..." and lately, very lately, Vatican Says Will Excommunicate Women Priests - link http://news.yahoo. com/s/nm/20080529/ lf_nm_life/pope_wo men_dc Who is really wrong, and who is really right?  (May 31, 2008 | post #36)

Are you really sure? As wiccan, I have no gospel, I have many gods and immanent divinity, no undisputed truth, and I celebrate the equality of the female and male. It's very hard to say they are very similar, there is no evidence.  (May 31, 2008 | post #31)

Well, the CIA Worldfacts Report indicates "Christians 33.32% (of which Roman Catholics 16.99%, Protestants 5.78%, Orthodox 3.53%, Anglicans 1.25%), Muslims 21.01%, Hindus 13.26%, Buddhists 5.84%, Sikhs 0.35%, Jews 0.23%, Baha'is 0.12%, other religions 11.78%, non-religious 11.77%, atheists 2.32% (2007 est.)" If you are focusing only U.S.A., please take note that United States population is about 1/20 of the world. Thank you  (May 31, 2008 | post #30)

Holy Bible: The Expurgated Version

Well, it's May 28th about 8:30 in the morning in Europe and here's the late-breaking News "EU promotes use of latest Internet Protocol as IPv6 will address the growing demand for IP addresses, which are already strained." I think this could change the world, at last. But... Still waiting for something more interesting from the rest of the world. Ciao from Italy  (May 27, 2008 | post #76)

How to Cast a Spell

I think many Romance languages, at last... vowel from vox "voice". ___ consonant from Latin consonantem (nom. consonans), prp. of consonare "to sound together," from com- "with" + sonare, from sonus "sound". Consonants thought of as sounds that are only produced together with vowels.  (May 16, 2008 | post #28)

Code Pink Protesters Try Witchcraft at Anti-Marine Rallies

The information was not mine, it was quoted from CodePink website: please read the entire message and see http://www.codepin k4peace.org/articl e.php... Anyway, if you call a group of idealists as "hippies ", well this is a syllogism with no solid bases.  (May 12, 2008 | post #53)

Code Pink Protesters Try Witchcraft at Anti-Marine Rallies

From CodePink website; see http://www.codepin k4peace.org/articl e.php?list=type &type=3: CODEPINK is a women-initiated grassroots peace and social justice movement working to end the war in Iraq, stop new wars, and redirect our resources into healthcare, education and other life-affirming activities. We reject the Bush administration's fear-based politics that justify violence, and instead calls for policies based on compassion, kindness and a commitment to international law. With an emphasis on joy and humor, CODEPINK women and men seek to activate, amplify and inspire a community of peacemakers through creative campaigns and a commitment to non-violence. <pThe story is related to Pagan/Wiccan News as Code Pink is now "resorting to witchcraft" ... .</p>  (May 11, 2008 | post #22)
