I guess Chavez is everyone's mentor in south america huh? Chavez is not the real power in South America, the real power is in UNASUR, south american leaders are being just that 'LEADERS" Instead of allowing the US to protect their "interest ". Alot of people in these countries are originally from Europe. They don't like it very much that finally the poor and disenfranchised are coming to power and letting their voices, which are much more than the minority elite be heard. In Bolivia its eastern Europeans such as Serbs and Croatians.In Argentina its Swedish and German. So being rich is not a sin, but it should come with more responsibility. Santa Cruz is the richest part of the country. 90% of all gas revenue goes into Santa Cruz, why should the rest of the country be left out ? Just because hundred years ago, they euros picked this land as theirs, now 85 to 90 percent of the population should be deprived of the gas revenue. Not only CNN. See here in the US our news is censored. I haven't seen a report from Bolivia on American news or a article in any newspaper. All they talk about here is hurricanes, the stock market, and the election. BBC tries to cover the situation, and does a pretty good job, but most informed people get their news from the Internet...I suggest REALNEWS, SKYNEWS{out of Russia}and sites like this one. The US refuses to cover the story because they are not playing any role in it and it would make the US look weak in the hemisphere. I couldn't find one article in a eastern US newspaper on the meeting in Chile that the UNASUR had.I want to know what the supporters of the opposition think of what UNASUR declared. They Declared that they will not recognize any other Government that is not Evo's. All the want to be Europeans in Bolivia should go back to their country of origin, because south America is beginning to rise up...With the creation of the UNASUR south America beginnings to take its rightful place in the hemisphere... No longer are we to be subjected to being the backyard of the US...With UNASUR it started then the integration of education and a provincial government groups, then the armed forces will integrate. Venezuela kicked out the ambassador first, than told its ambassador to come home... you should really read up before commenting. Plus That Goldberg dude "the ambassador to bolivia" you probably didnt know that, was caught spying like a year ago in bolivia,, but the US used a 19 yr old female sec. to take the blame.
