MPBN Turning Off Analog TV Transmitters on January 11

Most of the broadcasters and others are not telling people all they need to know. Most people will need to put their antenna as high as they can get it and they will need a amplifier for every 75 feet of coax. You also will need and I recommend this, you will need a deep fringe antenna and the quad RG-6 cable (no lost signal cable), not the regular cable the cable company uses and you should get a amplified mast mounted amp, but put it in the attic so you don't get all the interference from radio stations other other frequencies. You should get a rotor too. People needs to know that you need to spend more money and use more equipment than you use to use for analog stations.  (Feb 1, 2009 | post #3)
