What does LMZ even mean Profile
You shop in Bennington, therefore you know everything about Bennington and its residents. Or at least you can come off acting like you do. (Apr 14, 2010 | post #44)
WOW! At whatever age you are, you ALSO know everything, ABOUT ME! I have been working since i was 14 and have JUST gone back to school this past fall, so no. I have not been inside a school building for 23 years, it's been 5 or so since i haven't been. I've held a steady management position for 5 years at the same company and been offered to run my own store on many occasions. (RUNNING A RETAIL STORE REQUIRES THE ABILITY TO UNDERSTAND BUSINESS) I used to want to own my own business and that was my school focus. AND GUESS WHAT- I STILL WANT TO. Yes, it's true some businesses come about from nothing but pennies, but MOST OF them do not. If you want your business to be successful, you have to have a good solid product, the ability to market well and be a damn good manager. But many times opening one OR even expanding one requires MONEY. Loans from banks, relatives, etc. I would like to acquire an education before trying to open any business, AND the business i want to open would not sustain in a small town like Bennington. My goals are to obtain at least a bachelors in nutrition, a doctorate in psychology, and have my own practice counseling weight issues and giving nutritional advice. There aren't enough people in VT to sustain a business like that. Secondly, you have no idea who i am, and know absolutely nothing about me. Do not assume that I don't know "how to think". What is it with you old fogies? You think that just because you're old, you know everything, and that every young person knows nothing because they're young but thinks they know everything. I'd like to put you in a room with some brilliant young minds and see how you match up on the intelligence scale! And if you're especially going up against, god forbid, a college student, I'd like to see how you measured up there! Everyone is different. Every young person's life is different. Just because you know more at your age now than you did when you were my age does NOT mean "I don't know squat". The fact that you're making assumptions that I'm a young know-nothing makes you look like nothing but an ignorant p r i c k! (Apr 14, 2010 | post #43)
Please state the definition of theory in the english language: Now, please state the scientific definition of theory: Which definition are you assuming is being used? (Apr 14, 2010 | post #246)
Well I hope your ISP is just screwy and is just saying CT for some weird reason, because otherwise if you live in CT....do I need say it? If i had the money to open my own business then i would. I'm a college student and I am 23. Did you have money to open a business at 23? All I'm trying to say is the availability of different businesses in Bennington sucks. Sure, a car dealership would be GREAT for out of towner's/staters. But why are they still catering to them? Many people of Bennington are miserable! (Apr 4, 2010 | post #31)
I lived in Bennington for 23 years and am completely aware of all the surrounding areas and that people travel from those places TO Bennington. If what you want is a car dealership, then more power to you!! Enjoy staring at all those new beautiful Fords! (Apr 4, 2010 | post #30)
Alright heading out to work. I'm done arguing my point. Enjoy your new car dealership everyone! (Apr 4, 2010 | post #29)
I don't like that you are insinuating I would like to see a welfare daycare or a heroine dealership. To say so is simply asinine! If anyone had any kind of brain in their head, they would know that the last thing Bennington needs is more welfare or heroine catering, and another car dealership! Have you ever purchased from Carbone? Well I have, and will never do so again! They have plenty of dealerships set up in town, I think it's around 3 now? Why don't they just expand on the Hyundai one and make it half Ford half Hyundai? It would be greater to have something useful to Bennington's residents in that town! Honestly, how many people in Bennington can afford a new car often enough to sustain 5+ car dealerships in one small town? It's a giant wake up call for me to not be living in that town anymore and to actually have access to different businesses that have what i need! It's nice being able to find things when i want them and not having to travel an hour out to get them. I feel sorry for those in the town (like my family) that are stuck with nothing but pizza shops, fast food restaurants and car dealerships! (Apr 2, 2010 | post #25)
I agree that burning the house was most likely dangerous as far as the chemicals being released into the air goes, and Bennington definitely does NOT need another car dealership. No one in Bennington even has a job, what the hell makes them think people in that town can buy enough new cars to sustain that business? Oh, i forgot, everything in Bennington caters to the people who live outside the town, not its residents. Shame on me for forgetting such a thing. (Mar 29, 2010 | post #7)
Aww that is is sad :( My condolences to his family. So unfortunate.. (Mar 26, 2010 | post #6)
No, there's plenty of other stores i can work at. Many in the area. Mine is terrible. The customers are relentless pigs. So do whatever you want! :P (Mar 25, 2010 | post #51)
It doesn't sound like the girl has any reason to lie. Hopefully he is convicted!! (Mar 25, 2010 | post #2)

How come things like this can never happen at my store on Sunday mornings so i can go home instead of working open to close?!! Glad everyone is ok! (Mar 22, 2010 | post #16)
