Andrew Gardner expected to sign with Miami Dolphins today

I believe he was refering to Mcdaniels from jaxsonville trade. He will play defensive end if not the inside position, he is over 6'6" tall.  (Jun 22, 2009 | post #104)

Stern upset with LeBron over postgame conduct

being a good sport is one thing, but just walking off the court and not turning down hand shakes or talking to commentors wouldnt be a poor sportsman in my eyes. If the teams all lined up and slapped hands and repeated good game, then maybe, but it is that these guys go and talk to their friends, old college buddies and such, i didnt see super man runnin over to say hey , lebron good game man. SO , my point is, it is being taking out of context here, he, just wanted to go to the locxker room, sorry but in my eyes, this isnt a bad thing that teaches kids bad lessons.  (Jun 3, 2009 | post #37)

International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers: An elect...

you know, the more i think about this makes me look at the bigger picture, dangers aside, what a corporation makes each year is not always reflected in its employees earnings, take foe example, Mc donalds. Sure they are just flipping burgers, but arent slip and fall accidents prone in places like these? Comparing apples to oranges yes, but my point is just because Mc Donalds is making millions a year doesnt mean the employees should be making 70k for working there, after all they are "making the food".  (May 23, 2009 | post #202)

true but are you aware that all employess from out of state are payed at time and a half for every hour they work ? on top of a per diem AND hotel accommodations? I think any one with half a brain would jump on that train  (May 19, 2009 | post #124)

good points here , but understand i think alot of people are upset about the "one " nameless worker striking saying he was paid 34 an hr and just wants to earn the "average " across america thing. I mean really, reguardless what FPL pulls in year after year, how much do you think is a "fair" amount to be paid to do this job? I know the dangers in volved as I too am a Lineman, and an underground cable splicer. I know exactly what goes on in south florida in this field of work, no one is mentioning the incredible amount of OT you can get when working in this field, so not 34$ more like 51$ an hr, and they are complaining? Please, you said it your self, jobs they deem too dangerous or too dirty they pass off on contractors like megatran to do and those guys would wet themselves to get anything close to that amount per hour.  (May 19, 2009 | post #123)

I call BS on this, sorry guys, but as a fellow lineman in Ok we get payed 27 hr. If you guys think 33 -34 an hr is below average than you are mistaken. Maybe the cost of living has gone up in south florida, that being the case, i understand the need for more money, but union companies in oklahoma may pay hifgher but you know what? they dont get the contracts, then the workers have to tramp to another state for work, that sucks for the entire family.  (May 19, 2009 | post #72)

Jason Taylor: Jim Mandich says "toes are tingling' over J...

so true, cant tell you how many games i have been to and seen a bills fan up in the stands, then after the game when the fins win he has his jersey off! same goes for the jet fans, but at least they keep their jerseys on. There are soooooo many new yorkers down in the miami area, so to group all the fans as all fins fans would be in correct.  (May 14, 2009 | post #21)

guys mark my words, he will be a great adition to the fins roster, i saw him play some games in tulsa, he is a very good reciever, "bess like", so dont think this is a bad grab at all! GO FINS!!  (May 1, 2009 | post #58)

many say they dont mind if he signs with the pats, but you know what? I think if JT really is proud of being a player for long time with the fins, and loves the fins, then he should sign elsewhere than any other afc east team, he knows the rivalry, he knows how fans feel, he knows how the fins get up for those games, He knows he would be back stabbing the fins if he signed with a rivalry team. I know its a business but come on, he knows how fans would feel, and if he really was a fin fan like he says he is, he wouldnt go to the pats, jets , or buffalo!  (Apr 30, 2009 | post #7)
