Florence Village: graffiti abatement is funded through special grants, sports through the DARE program, the parks are re-packaged through special block grants; these services are common throughout many communitites. The city is still left with more money than they care to admit to. You say, "I do not care if I pay more...". That's because you are not paying. City of Bell could not do better with your public relations services. I have come to realize that some remarks on this blog are paid for in the name of public relations by the City of Bell, and it's tax payers. Is that you? Your remarks are completely slanted, bias and do not make sense if coming from form someone who lives in the City of Bell. Well, on the surface it looks good but Bob Rizzo will choose for them and George will have his guy too. Anyone else do not even apply, or if you have already, you wasted your time. You do live in Bell, or work for the "nice" government (as you put it)of Bell. It's only when you move out of Bell that you realize what your friends are doing to the people of Bell. However, I can sense your hatred, and lack of respect, toward these people. On transparency (do you know what this means in government?) and I only use this term to drive this point, the City of Santa Monica beats Bell by a long margin. Of course, if you lived in Santa Monica, you would probably be the critic (or whiner as you would refer to yourself)and telling our government, "Stop with all the facts and debates!". "I do not want to hear it, just get the job done!" ---and then you would proceed to place your handout and, without no shame, demand that the good people of Santa Monica pay you $300,000 per year. Then, what we would do to your kind is a character assassination like you just did to this people. (Actually, we would not do that to you-- we would hear you out and wonder what plant you were from-- we do that alot over here.) I am going to make it a point to get in touch with this people and give them more reasons to speakout against the "nice" government of Bell. Are you familiar with the City of Vernon? Are you kidding? Do you live in Maywood? The group is PUMAs and its controlled by council member Felipe Aguirre. Zhe brought in the women counicl members. And, now that organization and these council members are controlled by George Cole, "the machinist" from the OldTimers Foundation in Huntington Park and former Council Member in Bell; and, by the Malburg Family who dominate over the City of Vernon.  (Sep 3, 2009 | post #2)

But, who ever you are, perhaps Tom Brown or another lodge member, my words are not of hate. Your argument that words that bring light to an issue are of "hate" just tries to negate the message. He is in office because Hernandez can be manipuliated and played like a puppet by anyone he thinks can get him more power. Starting with George Cole and Robert Rizzo. He joined the Masonic Temple thinking that would get him the power but what it got was more trouble. His lodge had to split because members did not think he was "honorable ". Needlesstosay, the "Masons" have yet to allow women in their decision making. There are good masons, though. Hernandez is just not one of them. Interesting enough, with this scandal, I think he is only guilty of ignorance not the meth lab, his true wife came out of hiding, so we think it was her. Hernandez and Valencia, the "wannabe council" and whatever else they call him, live on the same street, San Luis. The neighbors on San Luis confirm that he lives their with a lady and three children. Perhaps his mistress? Surprise! I just learned that Victoe Bello just resigned last night. Seems the hatered he had for Robert Rizzo was overwhelming. Too, bad for us, he was close to doing the right thing for the community. Now, this will rest on George Mirabal, or the next council they will appoint. News flash: The council will take applications! Let's just hope the same won't happend like in Bell Gardens. They appointed a guy who moved in to BG just to get appointed. Wait! That has already happened here in Bell with Luis Artiga! What an opportunity the community has to appoint one of them without an election. Please let your friends know and ask them to apply.  (Aug 18, 2009 | post #66)

In Whittier, yeah. We know what you are saying to be true. There was this old man that rode a bike around his store and of course the school. We know to be true because of the Megan's law website. Well, let me fill you in... Hernandez was cued in by George Cole right before the election of 2007. Hernandez is just so arrogrant and ignorant that he thought that his neighbors did not know. His neighbors did know and crossed the street to tell him that he will not work for his image. Well, he ignored us, some of us live right across the street from him, but until he was advised by George Cole, then he acted. What he did was moved him to another of his properties (own by his son Oscar Junior). So there you have the whole story. View for yourself. Did you know our neighbor on Orchard, "Bud"? He lived where the Little Bear park is not expanded to. "Bud's" story is tragic but more tragic is what Hernandez and his family did to him. Yet, another example of Hernandez' corrupt ways.  (Aug 14, 2009 | post #63)
