There were plenty of calls for patience and for no articial time-line for the withdrawal of our troops from Iraq while one of our most precious resources (our soldiers) were fighting and giving their lives while GWB was in the White House, and now that President Obama is fixing the damage that has been done, the GOP is impatient and the clean-up isn't quick enough. The Obama haters' extreme disorder

Terri, is it our fault if Conservatives and Teabaggers have allowed certain Republican mascots like Limbaugh & Coulter & Palin & Brewer become representatives for them? Consider that guy Laity here on topix or that brave brave nonsense-contribut or Kumar69 in Villa Park IL or other goofs with those brave anonymous one-line messages. Even though I've been disinterested in this rampantly screwy contributor-forum website for a while now, I came back recently to see that goof STILL at it with his supposedly virtuous messages since he's supposedly such a good, devout religious man. The truly good people out there who happen to be religious should be putting him in his place since he gives them such a bad image. It's good seeing your stuff again, Terri. Are you on facebook? Take care, everyone. Big hugs, Warren Warren G. Richards Mesa AZ  (Aug 8, 2010 | post #3858)

It's so nice to be back at topix again to see Mr. Laity is at it, still, with such profoundly ridiculous judgemental satements. Robert, are you still confirming how much of a hypocrite "good Christian" you are with your unpatriotic and pitiful judgemental junk? Are you still giving legitimate religious people a bad image? I came to the realization a while ago that it's not for me or other people with our feet firmly planted on the ground to admonish you, but rather, the truly good religious people out there to put you in your place for giving THEM a bad image. Take care, everyone. Big hugs, Warren Warren G. Richards Mesa AZ  (Aug 1, 2010 | post #18183)

Arizona's Hate-Law

Luckily for Judge Susan R. Bolton, Her Honor apparently has only the last name in common with that Bush-cronie. You remember neoconservative John Bolton, supposedly methodically examining Florida ballots for a pretense of knowing what particular voters' intentions were on the faulty punch-card ballots in the election fiasco in Jeb Bush's state, and then later, ironically, being picked for Ambassador to the United Nations, or some such position, for the Bush-Cheney Administration. It's sad realizing that the mob-mentality from possibly intentionally under-educated and/or under-cultured white people has led back to the ethnic discrimination of decades thought to be in the past. Why is it that we didn't hear much from Sen. McCain (R) or Sen. Kyl (R) about border security when their own party's President, of all things a former border state governor, occupied the White House, and Democrat Janet Napolitano was the Arizona governor? Perhaps defacto governor Brewer (R), Queen of the Desert, feels emboldened by so much white power around her in this oddly RED state. Some could say that without the clear judgement of people like Susan Bolton presiding in our country's courtrooms, it would be embarassing to be white.  (Aug 1, 2010 | post #1)

'Going Rogue' Sarah Palin's book tour plans fit her fan base

TOTALLY AGREED, Livin Woodbury (and that's a nice anonymous message there, dear). How much longer will fear-mongerers keep up with the hamster wheel of that angry fearful distinctly "Republican " block-and-blame baloney? Rather than being patient and letting things be ironed out with time, fear-mongering people like yourself apparently need to blame President Obama and the Democrats by placing artificial time-lines on the Democrats' clean-up efforts of the cesspool that collected from the trickling corruption and greed from the Gipper's Theory of Trickle Down Economics. Take care and hang in there, everyone. Big hugs, Warren Warren G. Richards Mesa AZ  (Jan 8, 2010 | post #598)

U.S. Army Officer Calls Obama an "Impostor"

Well, afterall, Skorp, despite Almighty Reagan's Trickle-Down-Econo mics (which opened the gaping holes for greed and corruption to trickle in), the prosperous years under Clinton-Gore Administrations HAPPENED because of the split decisions in the House of Representatives and in the Senate. So of course you KNOW that the "family values Republicans" were responsible for the surplus that President Clinton and Vice Prsident Gore's Administrations had built up so that Duhbya and Dick could squander it with their war-profiteering bllsht. Afterall, it was Mission Accomplished when Hussein was captured! Our country and the world were safe again once "we" captured and killed Saddam Hussein. Haven't you all been paying attention? Ha! I love these ever-faithful Republicans. Take care and hang in there, everyone. Big hugs, Warren Warren G. Richards Mesa AZ  (Jan 6, 2010 | post #15225)

The Block-And-Blame Republicans

If you want to heckle the President during his Address to the nation...(Addison Graves Wilson, aka Joe Wilson, SC) If you want to suggest smacking around your wife doesn't truly count as assault, and neither does killing homosexuals...(Lou ie Gohmert, TX) If you want foreign governments not to trust the United States...(Mark Kirk, IL) If you want to refute scientific research by quoting Biblical prophesy...(John Shimkus) If you think wives should be submissive to their husbands...(Michel e Bachmann) If you want to pass laws to establish the Bible as the Word of God for all Americans...(Randy Forbes) If you want to scare women with a false link between abortion and breast cancer...(Congress man Bill Sali) If you think stiffer penaties for violent attacks on gays are a threat to your freedom... (Louie Gohmert, Texas) If you think same-sex marriage is a purely socialist concept...(Steve King on WorldNetDaily radio) If you need someone to call Michelle Obama uppity...(Lynn Westmoreland, Georgia) If President Obama's election sends you looking for a great white hope to save the GOP... (Lynn Jenkins, Kansas) If you want to push your political agenda by exploiting the fears of senior citizens... (Virginia Foxx, North Carolina) ...then the Block-And-Blame Republicans are for you, since hey're obviously NOT concerned about We The People. http://wakingupnow .com/blog/rep4that Thanks, Madeleine. The History Behind The Often Misused Kool-Aid Reference

Many people apparently are not aware why people sometimes make reference to "drinking the Kool Aid" on these internet message boards. This is perhaps one of the reasons why some people demonize the word liberal too. The matter is no joke, yet people to this day seemingly write those words into their messages as if they are making some profound statement about other contributors' input like they are merely juveniles. This of course might be true in some cases, as evidenced by these message boards. Do an internet Search on "cyanide-lace d Kool Aid" or some similar search. Take care and hang in there, everyone. Richards Mesa AZ http://www.infople ase.com/spot/jones town1.html The Jonestown Massacre The Ministry of Terror by Elissa Haney The vat containing Jones' deadly concoction sits amid the bodies of his followers on Nov. 20, 1978. (Source/AP) Related Links Cult Conflict Cult Activity in the '90s Alternative Considerations of Jonestown & the People's Temple Cult leader Jim Jones. Almost three decades ago an unusual series of events led to the deaths of more than 900 people in the middle of a South American jungle. Though dubbed a "massacre, " what transpired at Jonestown on November 18, 1978, was to some extent done willingly, making the mass suicide all the more disturbing. The Jonestown cult (officially named the "People's Temple") was founded in 1955 by Indianapolis preacher James Warren Jones. Jones, who had no formal theological training, based his liberal ministry on a combination of religious and socialist philosophies. A New, Isolated Community After relocating to California in 1965, the church continued to grow in membership and began advocating their left-wing political ideals more actively. With an I.R.S. investigation and a great deal of negative press mounting against the radical church, Jones urged his congregation to join him in a new, isolated community where they could escape American capitalism—and criticism—and practice a more communal way of life. In 1977, Jones and many of his followers relocated to Jonestown, located on a tract of land the People's Temple had purchased and begun to develop in Guyana three years earlier. Relatives of cult members soon grew concerned and requested that the U.S. government rescue what they believed to be brainwashed victims living in concentration camp-like conditions under Jones's power. The Visit of Congressman Ryan In November 1978, California Congressman Leo Ryan arrived in Guyana to survey Jonestown and interview its inhabitants. After reportedly having his life threatened by a Temple member during the first day of his visit, Ryan decided to cut his trip short and return to the U.S. with some Jonestown residents who wished to leave. As they boarded their plane, a group of Jones's guards opened fire on them, killing Ryan and four others. Some members of Ryan's party escaped, however. Upon learning this, Jones told his followers that Ryan's murder would make it impossible for their commune to continue functioning. Rather than return to the United States, the People's Temple would preserve their church by making the ultimate sacrifice: their own lives. Jones's 912 followers were given a deadly concoction of a purple drink mixed with cyanide, sedatives, and tranquilizers. Jones apparently shot himself in the head.  (Dec 8, 2009 | post #1)
