Mom: Web Hoax Led Girl to Kill Herself -

All the parents who think they should be "friends " with their self-centered, spoiled, wretched little whelps will hopefully get it back in their face someday. What kind of example are these parents setting??? Holy **** . The **** parent(s) who created this Josh ought to be put into a room and beaten with a baseball bat for his/her stupidity. When will parents learn to be parents and not get on the level of their progeny and act like morons? God help us all. These cretins walk among us... Whew.  (Nov 17, 2007 | post #137)

Clinton strikes back in latest debate -

Biden was impressive, and I haven't a clue as to why he didn't seem to get as much time as Obama, Clinton, Edwards, and Richardson. A shame. The man is straight forward, extremely knowledgeable, clearly a head above the rest. Going into this, I was shifting between Clinton and Obama. Biden would get my vote.  (Nov 16, 2007 | post #59)

Central Park Jogger: Oprah offended me -

An overreaction? Much. I am in the middle re Oprah but this wasn't blaming the victim. Puh-leeeeze. Can we say "lawsuit " and emotional suffering? Looks like this chick Meili (with all due respect to what she suffered) is seeking a bit of gelt here. What Oprah asked, as a woman, is a logical question. Yes, the jogger had every right to jog on the moon if she chose to. But common sense and concern for one's well being sometimes trumps "I have the right to..." As in blaming a rape victim because she wore a skirt up to her buttocks and a blouse cut to her waist is ludicrous. We certainly have the right/freedom to dress as we choose. BUT - we must also be aware of how we are perceived and if we care about our welfare and well being, we'll be conscious of the image we project. It's called "self defense." I don't want to be victimized so I do what I have to to protect myself. That may mean not jogging where I'd like to job, not riding my bike where I'd like to ride it. Old saying: Better safe than sorry. It's a shame we have to live that way but the REALITY is, we sometimes have to. We make our choices. It was no big deal for Oprah to ask that question because it probably wasn't something Oprah - or many women - would do. There is no blame game going here. Get over it.  (Nov 15, 2007 | post #111)

A-Rod's exit leaves bad taste for baseball -

When he's finished his career, I hope someone puts an asterisk next to his name and footnotes that this guy was a scumball egotist who folded like a beach chair in October. Good riddance.  (Oct 30, 2007 | post #18)

Good riddance to an egotistical, arrogant October-choking p-u-s-s-y.  (Oct 29, 2007 | post #76)

Yankees talk back

Nice year, Sox. Ellsbury was a standout. Surprised he didn't get MVP. Next year is ours. Bye bye, A-rod. Nice stats and pretty swing. But he chokes come October. Who needs him and his ego? If the Sox pass up on Lowell and sign A-rod - hahahaah - nail in their coffin. He may help get them to the playoffs but will fold in October.  (Oct 29, 2007 | post #33704)

Yankees president Randy Levine defends Torre offer -

Levine and crew are a bunch of classless skanks and horse's @rses. They won't see diddly for many years. Get ready for blood letting on an annual basis. Too bad someone with some brains doesn't buy the Yankees. I'm sorry to see Joe go.  (Oct 22, 2007 | post #17)

Dead manager walking: Torre unlikely to return -

correction: "THINGS FOR JOE TORRE TO DO WHILE WAITING TO NOT BE REHIRED" Whoever made that vulgar attempt at humor at Newsday ought to be **** canned. That was about the unfunniest **** I've ever read. What happened to all the good reporters and sportwriters? That add on was definitely bush-league. Jerks.  (Oct 10, 2007 | post #69)

Yankees lose buggy Game 2 in extra innings -

At last Joba sucked it up and took responsibility. He's a heck of a human being. His family must be proud. Pettite did well - it wasn't the pitching. It's obviously the hitting on the part of the Yankees. The Cleveland pitcher pitched a good game but not anything outstanding. Another good play off for A-Rod. He continues to suck in October. Jeter must be sleeping through the series and the others haven't even shown up. P.U. I thought we'd go a bit further than this. I envisioned another NY/BOS shoot out. **** - this is horrendous.  (Oct 6, 2007 | post #174)

Yankees lose on Navarro's HR in 10th -

I laughed at the analogy of Bruny and a root canal. I had been thinking of a hemorrhoid attack. Igawa is a waste. Fartsworth is horrendous. I cringe when he's put in the game. Ramirez - they ought to put him out to pasture. Awful. Thank the Almighty the Moose is coming around. Hard times are ahead when the Yanks make the playoffs. I hope A-rod is on for a change and doesn't choke as he usually does in October.  (Sep 26, 2007 | post #8)
