Sounds like you got a serious case of U MAD. (Jul 28, 2011 | post #76)
A local Palestinian used Twitter to describe the Osama Bin Laden raid as it was going down. He didn't know at the time what it was. So, it's not like there aren't valid uses for it. But for the everyday Joe Blow who's like "Washing mah crotch, feels good", yeah...I don't care. (Jul 28, 2011 | post #5)
What people don't understand is that these "rich" people aren't really going to be "taxed" should legislation go through to that effect. They're going to just be losing these tax breaks and loopholes that they've been widely abusing since GW Bush hooked up all his friends. (Jul 28, 2011 | post #77)
Can someone who reads and writes English actually tell us what happened? Or better yet link to a news article, which one would hope might actually have some actual facts? (Jul 28, 2011 | post #32)
People are hurting out here no doubt. I see more and more people who can't find renters and are stuck paying mortgages on these houses/condos/etc. that they thought would be cash cows. The problem is a large percentage of these people match their rent to match BAH rates for military and more often actually a little more than BAH rates so the only people who can realistically afford them are senior ranking military personell. Even junior military with families have trouble affording them. (Jul 28, 2011 | post #33890)
Fair and balanced, truthful news"...Lol, good one. You almost had me for a minute there. (Jul 28, 2011 | post #9)
You say Aloha and yet it's obvious from your statement you don't know the history of Hawaii. There's a reason why these beaches are open to the public. (Jul 28, 2011 | post #16)

Once again, taken in by birther conspiracy movements. Obama never said he would stand with the Muslims. Here's what he DID say in it's full context. Misleading e-mail: From Audacity of Hope: "I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction." FALSE. Actual quote from "The Audacity of Hope" [pg. 261]: Of course, not all my conversations in immigrant communities follow this easy pattern. In the wake of 9/11, my meetings with Arab and Pakistani Americans, for example, have a more urgent quality, for the stories of detentions and FBI questioning and hard stares from neighbors have shaken their sense of security and belonging. They have been reminded that the history of immigration in this country has a dark underbelly; they need specific assurances that their citizenship really means something, that America has learned the right lessons from the Japanese internments during World War II, and that I will stand with them should the political winds shift in an ugly direction. Obama did not say he would side with "the Muslims," which could easily be read as meaning he would side with the world's Muslim population even if it meant working outside the best interests of the United States. He said he would side with "them," referring back to his mention of immigrant communities and specifically to "Arab and Pakistani Americans." Furthermore, he was speaking of an "ugly direction" like the mass internment of Japanese Americans. Notice how the birthers, bigots, Tea Partiers, etc. not only took his quote completely out of context but completely changed it as well to something he NEVER said? Standard Modus Operandi for birthers. Make up something, post it on a website, when someone asks for proof, link to the website you posted it on. (May 7, 2010 | post #2499)

Washington wrote: Speaker Nancy Pelosi is a b*tch. Patty Murray of Washington is a b*tch, for their votes on HITLER NAZI health-care. Caribou Barbie wrote: Take off the Birkenstock's, grab a double soy latte, the latest copy of The Advocate, and RELAX. You're assuming that someone with an "extensive " and eloquent vocabulary like Washington would be capable of reading in the first place. (May 6, 2010 | post #1401)
