Jeepneys in CEBU CITY full of criminals

LOL a lame attempt by an impostor with false username spreading lies on Davao obviously because it can't handle the awful truth about Cebu as exposed by another forumer, just another backbiting hypocrite from the place furthermore confirming these disgusting ill mannered people (with due consideration to other rare good cebuanos that this impostor may not be one of) that another forumer had aready observed that this liar hypocrite copied word-for-word except changing the original word "Cebu" where it is originally referred to. what's next liar hypocrite with false username, Manila?  (Oct 17, 2010 | post #21)

Remembering the value of our cebuano upbringing

there are far better forms of discipline than those, some are even obsolete and not politicaly correct being tantamount to verbal abuse. Besides this is Davao comprising varied mix and influences representing many regions and not a monopoly of cebuano culture.  (Feb 15, 2010 | post #3)

Filipines is the poorest country on earth?

amusing reply to a question whose answers are practically located under pilipino's noses LOL  (Jan 31, 2010 | post #1876)

Filipines is the poorest country on earth?

he wants banana. On the other hand, it should be noted that the sentiment I aired previously differentiates between the American citizenry from the fascist oligarchy, in which the former may also be cunningly manipulated by the latter just as the filipinos aping them were. Americans are basically a dynamic people and they, like filipinos, just need some stun-gun doses to wake 'em up.  (Jan 31, 2010 | post #1870)

Filipines is the poorest country on earth?

The country's protective policies actually worked for its benefit especially proven during the Asian crisis in which other economies in other countries proved very vulnerable, while ours proven to be growing lean and mean, slowly, but surely. After the WW2 the US original plan to industrialize the country by trasnferring the heavy industries from defeated Japan was abandoned in favor of the latter. In the wider plan of those in position, parituclarly the global oligarchs, out of seeming paranoia they did not intend to make this country a powerhouse. It was further proven when during the Cold War, the same operandi that the CIA manipulated over latin american countries, i.e. supporting dictators and corrupting its system making it vulnerarable to exploitation by US economic imperialism, was also applied to the country furthermore weakening it. these scenarios only justify that the country's interest be considered the priority over foreign interest. If the inevitability of opening doors to international trade becomes a necessity, this country may as well entrust and strengthen its relationship with its neighboring Asian countries both economically and culturally as the trend towards the future is the revival of the East as the next powerhouse. Basically initiatives such as the BIMP EAGA should be given more attention as it ensures development to be strengthened at the grassroot level.  (Jan 31, 2010 | post #1864)

Promoting the Philippines as a retirement haven

^^ Haven't been recently to most of these cities, except dropping by a week ago in CDO. GenSan is a boomtown city with malls sprouting and known for tuna indutry, it's an orderly planned city with still more available space and nearby Sarangani province offers scenic beaches; Zamboanga has rich history with diverse cultures with their own unique dialect, Chavacano. CDO is another boomtown city as Mindanao's heavy industries are preferably located in northern Mindanao (Davao tends to be lukewarm to these due to environmental reasons); Cagayanons are basically a friendly people altough they tend to be competitive and always wished to fairy godmother they'll overtake Davao, to the amusement of the latter. The city needs some cleaning up though.  (Jan 31, 2010 | post #138)

Promoting the Philippines as a retirement haven

You'll be seeing more attractions like the waterfalls and breathtaking sceneries and cool climate of Marilog and Bukidnon on the north, the 100+ kms whitesand beaches, bonsai forest of Davao Oriental in the west, Camp Sabros zipline, hot springs of Davao del Sur and north Cotabato etc. Those you were hearing were puppet media sensationalism that dated long ago back from the early 80's or isolated cases hundreds of kms from the city and those recent incidences like bombings many years ago turned out caused not by locals or even Mindanao Muslims, but terrorists based from Cebu or terrrorist bomber- CIA agent Michael Meiring, they were already exposed as to who they really are with their ulterior motives to sabotage this very promising place. Otherwise Davao City (and most of its outskirts) will literally be the safest major city you will discover, you can literally use your cellphone anytime without fear (the criminals either fled away for being hunted or went otherworld already) and even use it to dial 911 toll free and assured of systematic response at most 5 minutes. True Dabawenyos are peace loving though uncompromising, and prefer to keep it that way.  (Jan 30, 2010 | post #136)

Maharlika Nation

interesting, it is also suspected that the real estate development your proudly call your Petaling Jaya may have come from the Visayan word for penis, which is "patiling. " In our translation petaling jaya hilariously meant the male organ of a very talented female singer who was a daughter of an equally talented comedian, Elizabeth Ramsey. Brace yourself then, the word Maharlika will profoundly affect your paradigm just as the phallic symbol of an obelisk had been for centuries. But then it is reserved uniquely for your Malaysian paradigm.  (Jan 25, 2010 | post #605)

Maharlika Nation

the Sanskrit word you're referring is "linggam " and not LEKHA, you people are just too attached to the penis thing, just try to get out of the closet but just make ya ain't fugly or it could make one throw up. what's funnier is when obviously you folks just don't get get the basics of the complex process for change in an equally complex situation in this country that especially you as a foreigner will be incapable of comprehending. Besides, you seem clueless as to how your country was named, i.e. to epitomize the Malay race, I see you would still be clueless how it would affect what if in case your country be renamed akin to something like "Britain's doormat." Furthermore, neither will the complex problems of this nation be resolved by having a mindset of putting one's brain into the belly. It's not as simple as that over here. to give you a hint, unlike your country where yours mostly belong to the mainland hence the geographical proximity with each other, in our country it is composed of a staggering 7,107 archipelagic islands with more than a hundred dialects and hundreds more of tribes and cultures, you simply cannot comprehend much with your Malaysian mind the geopolitics here. May I sincerely suggest that you refrain from acting as if you knew how to handle our situation here, frankly it's simply beyond your capacity.  (Jan 25, 2010 | post #603)

Bornleader, thanks for the links, I had also been doing research about Jesus and his connection with India and other great places in our history, and this will fortify it further, will check on it when getting the time.  (Jan 25, 2010 | post #601)

finally someone had the gall to brand the undisciplined, corrupt, hypocritical, garbage throwers, exploiters, uncultured, utak talangka that made this once beautiful country known as Pearl of the Orient Seas into Asia's garbage dump in a matter of decades, into one hilarious word: "piglipino "...classic LOL when he's not hilarious and talks seriously, he may even sound more Filipino than some 'piglipinos' as Spaniards are known to be uncompromising disciplinarians, as originally only those with mixed mestizo lineage were to be called as "Filipino " in contrast to undeniable lack of discipline and rowdiness portrayed by some.  (Jan 24, 2010 | post #10)

Maharlika Nation

you're getting to be aware about it, that's why it's not suprising why we are inherently cosmopolitan in outlook, more diplomatic (i.e. preferring dialogues, rally, etc. over wars), and (despite the continuing corruptive influences especially by fascist manipulated american puppet media)we are aware of our inherent civility such that among Tagalogs, the word "po" and "opo" is unique in itself. Because deep in the recesses of our Consciousnes, we had been there. We were once the most powerful in our Planet, and with much learning, wisdom from lessons in life in both its light and dark sides, in comfort and hardships, that we as Maharlikans are called for, we will be again. There is a yet to be awakened part within us, the Maharlikan Consciousness, that will lead us back to the great glory of our Past and into our brighter Future, if we only listen, and despite the shortcomings and even attempts to pull us down, we may be the key to the betterment of Humanity. Remember, Maharlikans are also warriors and we must continue the fight and struggle for ours and Humanity's betterment. With awareness and knowledge and wisdom and those GREAT WORKS that we are called for, awaken the Maharlikan within in every thing that we do, and nobody can take it away from us.  (Jan 24, 2010 | post #600)

Maharlika Nation

you need to backread. Those scholarly blokes that blasphemed the name were very irresponsible and the wrose part is some suck up to it hook, line and sinker. the blokes claimed Maharlika came from Sanskrit "maha" (great, noble) and "linggam " (male genitalia) when it's obviously far from the word. The nearest was actually MAHA and LEKHA (work, creation) that even tagalog coined its word "likha" from it. Therefore Maharlika means GREAT CREATION. yuo should sue you school if they keep poisoning with their errors. Ask from what wrods Maharlika may be nearer from whether "linggam " or LEKHA and an idiot will choose the former. Besides, it turned out that the word MAHARLIKA may have been embedded deep in the subconscious among those individuals awakened with it. Further research revealed that it may even originate from a very ancient and the richest and most powerful among supposed 7 subcontinents of ancient MU, named MAHARLOKA (Great Land) and it was said to be once located right where this archipelago is located said to be hundreds of thousands of years ago. Further evidence of the existence of this very ancient continent (much older than Atlantis) had been discovered with a strange ancient submerged city with seeming pyramid-like structures and even a large sculpture of a human face somewhat similar to those found among ancient american indian cities! It can be found in the waters of Yonaguni, Japan.  (Jan 24, 2010 | post #599)
