One hour techno mix - what do you think?

http://beatandorde r.com/setdetail/te chno-podcast-11.ph p While I was putting together the track list for this episode I was thinking a lot about memory and how powerful memory can be as a weapon against tyranny and bad decisions in general. Actually what I was thinking about is how easily we forget and how we keep learning the same lessons over and over again. There is another theme to this set too, which is technology and progress, that comes through in the double appearance of Trans Lunar Injection by Niereich, Hackler & Kuch. There is also a strong South and Central American influence this week with Pfirter, Molano, Boratto all making a big contribution to the sound and mood. What do you think? Weekly Techno Podcast - Beat and Order - 09 Bella Donna C...

http://beatandorde r.com/setdetail/te chno-podcast-9.php The theme of this week's episode is the dark Italian swing that is so distinctive and yet so surprising in amongst the harder and dirtier techno that is coming from Berlin, Stockholm and London. I have been a fan of Mauro Picotto since his hard trance days and followed his shift from the Komodo sound to his current place in Italian techno and you'll here that great Luigi Madonna remix in this set along with some great tracks from Alberto Pascual who brings some Spanish flavour to the set with Amok from the Bailando EP that came out this week. Needless to say, anything ending with the BCR Boys is going dark and the combination of Blinded and the remix of Tosi's Clownclass ends the set in a psychological mess. When I listened to this set after playing it I kept going OMG what am I doing here, where has this thing taken me and why does it feel so good?? Hopefully you will have the same reaction.
