I may be arrogant....but you know I'm right on track. Anyone who opposes a stadium being built is a complete morron! Think about it: The Metrodome hold around 68,000......a new stadium has the potential to hold 80,000. At least 8 games per year (maybe more) PLUS 80,000 = 640,000 HUNGRY FANS WHO WANT NOTHING BUT BEER AND FOOD!! Now, BESIDES telling me how many PEOPLE will be put to work JUST BUILDING THE PLACE.....how many people will BE PERMANENTLY EMPLOYED once it opens?? And how many employees will LOSE THEIR JOBS OR LOCAL BUISNESS WILL LOSE PATRONS if the Vikings leave town????????????!! !!!!!!!!!!!?!??!!? ?!?!!? THINK ABOUT IT................ ..DUMB A $$ $$$$ ! ! ! ! ! ! It's a WIN - WIN SITUATION!!! SUCCESSFULL ECONOMY = EMPLOYING CITIZENS + PLEASING THE GENERAL PUBLIC SO THEY SPEND MONEY AT LOCAL BUISNESSES!!!!! BUILDING A NEW STADIUM WILL DO JUST THAT! ANY MORON KNOWS THAT MUCH!! LETTING THE VIKINGS GO....WILL ULTIMATELY BE THE DOWNFALL OF THE MINNESOTA ECONOMY AS WE KNOW IT!!! GO VIKINGS!!!!!!! AND BUILD THE DAMN STADIUM!!! Yeah, no kidding! And ya know what really gets me about that?! Last year I went to 4 Twins games, (got the tickets for free, or I never would've went), and at all 4 games, the dome wasn't even close to half full. Now how many Vikings games do you go to and there's less than say....50,000 people in attendance. Granted, the Twins have more games every year,(cause it's a woosie sport), but let's see them sell out 68,000 tickets for one game. And for that matter, the Vikings have 8 home games, and if each one sells out 68,000 seats...that's 544,000 seats sold in 4 months of a regular season. The playoffs are just a bonus. So......who deserves a stadium more? YOu know what my opinion is................ .. GO VIKINGS!!!!!!!!!! (Saturday Nov 7 | post #77)

I always find it amazing how people who sit behind a desk everyday, and probably have never played 1 game of football in thier life,(except when he tried out for the 7th grade team, and didn't make the list, because he got ran over), can sit there are make what they think is a Perfect Plan for a winning season.
