Why I’m no longer a Christian

only sadly, you will know it... someday... when its too late. My favorite quote is "wouldn't you rather live your life believing in God, die and realize that there isn't one than live your life as an unbeliever, die, and realize that there is?  (May 14, 2009 | post #96670)

Man injured in rodeo

Sweetheart, these clueless rednecks LOVE their animals! The animals rarely if ever get hurt and are very quickly tended to by vets. People involved are way more likely to get hurt! I grew up enjoying rodeos and the like and have seen maybe, MAYBE, 5 animals get hurt my whole life! I have seen countless Men and Women hurt in these events!  (May 14, 2009 | post #44)

Gun-Toting Teachers a " A Good Idea?

I agree that guns are not the answer to problems, but so many people use them that you have to defend yourself. I live just up the road from the school that sparked this debate. They are about 25 min. from any law enforcement and if some crazy was to attack the school, they are a long way from any defenses. There are only certain teachers that carry guns and they are all licensed and have gone through specific training and have been approved by the school board and other faculty. It is the safest option for this school.  (May 14, 2009 | post #3)
