Refugees resettled from Asia to gather

Look real hard at those outsiders "invading " your precious Northland... They're out-working, over achieving your lazy, complaining butts and will soon, if not already, leave you lazy, whining, complaining **** es in the dust! This is a nation of immigrants, get used to it. The strong WILL survive, no matter WHERE the come from, and the longer you sit there whining about what's being taken away from you and the "outsiders " who are taking over and taking what's yours, the deeper you will sink in to the hole you're already in. Work together, or lose everything!  (Sep 26, 2009 | post #7)

Kate and Jon Gosselin lived apart for 2 years

You reap what you sow... You want a beautiful wife and family? Pay the price. Be a man and accept the responsibility. Don't be a "lord and master," but don't give up your voice. You want a "perfect " family, with 8 beautiful children and all the challenges they bring? You want a husband who's on your "team?" Treat him as an equal, respect him, and don't be his mother. Those beautiful eight children were brought into this world by two people who had no idea, reality tv or not, what their lives would become, and their lack of maturity will come back to haunt them when those children are grown unless they (BOTH parents) GROW UP NOW!!  (Jun 23, 2009 | post #19)

Ski community mourns loss of a legend - The Park Record

Sorry for your loss, and I may get some hate for this, but WHY put yourself at such extreme risk, especially with such a beautiful young family. A life cut short too soon!  (Mar 28, 2009 | post #2)

Experts say it's still not too late to get a flu shot

SO TIRED of all the flu shot madness. Every winter, we're fed artificial hysteria on this flu shot, how there may not be enough available, and how what IS available may or may not even protect against the current year's strain. I'm not the type to see plots/conspiracy theories where there are none, but this has been going on for too long, with too many documented cases of people of ALL ages getting sick or even dying from this vaccine. I will NOT get one now, and based on all I have heard, never will. Steer clear of enforced mass hysteria!!  (Dec 9, 2008 | post #1)

Personal shoppers to help you sort through fall

Sorry, but even in good economic times, who's got the $$$$ for this?! I'd venture to guess it's only stupid-rich, over-educated, unimaginative souls who blindly follow like sheep every alleged trend. Poor posers! Go out and go shopping for yourself... Life's not THAT complicated!!  (Nov 22, 2008 | post #2)

House in fatal fire had no working alarms

>Except in rare instances in which victims had been incapacitated by factors such as alcohol or a medical condition, no one has died in a home fire where there were properly placed< Seems so simple... If those with elderly parents/relatives took the time to check out their detectors, this type of tragedy might become less common. Sad story....  (Nov 22, 2008 | post #2)

Feds: Spitzer won't face charges

>Four people, including Emperors Club ring leader Marc Brener, pleaded guilty to money laundering or promotion of prostitution offenses. "It is the proper decision," Brener's defense attorney Murray Richman said of the decision not to prosecute Spitzer. How is it the proper decision to prosecute those who provide the service, but not those who use the service? It would seem to me that if the service were not used, there would be no reason to offer it... What hypocrisy!!  (Nov 8, 2008 | post #54)

Amanda Malloy was admired as friend, teacher

So sad... Is it really possible this waste of space will only be charged with a misdemeanor? Peace to her family and loved ones. Please think twice about running at night!!  (Nov 8, 2008 | post #1)

Leah Walsh, missing teacher, murder, Bethpage, William Wa...

Sorry to say, but how many of these tragic cases involve a young woman, so desparate to have the "perfect, Cindarella princess" wedding, overlook all the obvious signs that their chosen mate is no way near the princ charming they have fooled themselves into believing they are? I thing that even now, in supposedly modern times, girls are so anxious to find this impossible dream, and their families are so ready to pay thousands to have the dream weddings, that the letdown helps already unbalanced relationships reach the breaking point. This is not to justify any of this horror, only a plea to stop and try to see some reality in your relationship before it's too late...!!!  (Oct 31, 2008 | post #7)

NY judge: Broken-tooth popcorn suit's a dud

He saw so many other frivilous lawsuits going the distance, and figured "what the heck?!" If he had gotten a different judge, I'm sure his case would have been heard and he've been rewarded what he asked for and more. Kudos to the judge!  (Sep 29, 2008 | post #7)

Mary-Kate Olsen seeks immunity in Heath Ledger case

If she didn't have anything to do with this, she wouldn't need immunity. Celebrities should not be above the law. I'm no expert, just wondering if you or I would have the same offer of immunity if we were in this situation. That being said, Mr. Ledger chose to take these drugs. He is ultimately responsible for his death, not those who provided the drugs to him....  (Aug 5, 2008 | post #2)
