worst land lords in paragould

I DO know what landlords have to put up with, very well. I have been an apt manager as well as a cleaner for a rental agency in BLYTHEVILLE (!!!). I was commenting on the landlords' attitude toward the renters, not all of them though. If they have a good tenant, the good tenant is often treated unfairly because of the bad ones. Rent takes 2 or 2 1/2 pay checks for some people and I feel that they should be treated with more respect, if deserved.  (Nov 26, 2012 | post #169)

Prove there's a god.

I am going to read all these responses. But I have to get going out the door soon. I had to put this in. As soon as I saw the title of this thread, I HAD to quote a Cheech n Chong movie! Chong-"One time I played this song on 78 (speed) and saw god, man!" Always thought that was so funny. But now, I can't remember the song he said he was playing! Dammit. Anyone recall that part of the movie? May have been Iron Man.  (Nov 3, 2012 | post #558689)

I have always hated the type of landlord who considers it a favor to you, the renter, to ALLOW you to live there when it should be the other way. Landlords of absolute slums probably know that if you have to live in a horrible place, you have no choice. So they don't bother caring about anything. However, there are plenty of landlords who rent nicer places who have that same attitude. I have a pretty good landlord now, so I've stayed here over 4 years. He isn't the quickest to fix everything. But if its something important, he gets right on it. If any landlords are reading this and want tenants who will stay, USE YOUR HEAD, or at least consider thinking, best as you can, about what I wrote here! Just because someone either has the advantage to own rental property certainly doesn't mean they are of any higher class than those they rent to! BTW, many people chose to rent instead of own for MANY reasons. So, step up ya slum lords! Right? :)  (Nov 3, 2012 | post #157)

i would like to make some friends im new here

I agree. I have met some awful folks. But it only took a few moments to realize "what" they were. I hate seeing the town slammed so badly. And I have only lived here 10 years or so. I chose this town to raise my son and I am glad I did. I would rather live in a large city, but not to raise my child in.  (Nov 2, 2012 | post #32)

I agree. There are a LOT of good people here. You can tell if you are around a bad, seedy person within a few minutes, at most. I moved here from a much smaller town to raise my son, being a single parent. I couldn't have picked a better place (in this part of the country anyway). I am 27 at heart, but about 10 years older in actual age years or I would suggest myself. ANY town bars are of the element of shady folks, druggies, etc. If your religious, there are as many, or more, churches as there are banks here (just look around, you'll see what I mean!). Feel free however, to send me a message. I would really like to know how you are doing. Its a shame how badly so many people slammed this town. I am just a early, middle aged, nice hippie, i suppose. Give me a yell. [email protected] .com  (Nov 2, 2012 | post #31)
