Hey, remember YOU were the one who said IF the Vikings win the Super Bowl. YOU were the one throwing out hypotheticals. I was just throwing out another way to look at YOU'RE hypothetical situation. If you want purely facts from me, then I'd like the same from you. Actually, what I would really like is for you stop acting like a baby about the fact the Favre chose to play for the Vikings. Get over it, and get over to the Packers message boards. You come across as pathetic by being over here.  (Aug 21, 2009 | post #72)

Any other company in the country needs to abide by both federal and state laws with how their employees are handled. Why should the NFL be any different? I know the popular answer is that there is a collective bargaining agreement. I'm not a legal expert, so this is an amateur interpretation. If I start a company and my employees sign an agreement with my company that says that they get paid 50 cents/hr., does that supercede federal minimum wage laws. I don't think it does. The agreement would carry no weight. It's quite possible there are holes in my analogy, so please enlighten me if I'm off.  (Jul 22, 2009 | post #5)

Curry didn't want to play in Minnesota either, so why would taking Curry have been any better of a decision?  (Jul 2, 2009 | post #6)

I'm not advocating for calling any adult "Boy", nor am I advocating for overreacting to a comment that probably had no intention of being racist. With that said, have you ever been to a high school "boys" basketball game? Did you see anyone 12 years olds or younger playing in that game? Finally, when Percy Harvin steps up and starts acting like a man, he will be treated like and referred to a man, not a "boy". Trust me. To date, he hasn't proven anything.  (Jul 1, 2009 | post #49)

Gravedigger, your post has great validity other than chosing 3 pro-bowlers as a reason for weakness, exaggeraging the time that Madeiu Williams will be out, and you absurd prediction of the final score. Nice job! Better luck next time.  (Sep 7, 2008 | post #3)

I don't believe TJack took himself out of the game. Rather, I think as a precaution someone upstairs or on the sidelines was advising him to come out. After all, he did play two more plays after the play in which he was hurt.  (Aug 17, 2008 | post #8)

Granted, Allen didn't make much noise last night, but also consider the fact that he was going against Walter Jones, a pretty good player in his own right.  (Aug 9, 2008 | post #6)

Minnesota Vikings to focus on their QBs in tonight's exhi...

Enough with the Booty talk already. He's suited to be a 3rd stringer this year. He would be a complete disaster if he were to be starting in the NFL right now. No different than almost every other rookie QB that has tried to start an NFL game. He was a highly touted high schooler and played for a major college program, but most of the hype comes from the fact that he followed in the footsteps of Carson Palmer and Matt Leinart. None of the previously mentioned attributes count for much in the NFL. He may amount to something with some seasoning, but I'm afraid he has nothing to contribute this year.  (Aug 8, 2008 | post #20)
