Tolls could be coming to several area bridges

What happened to all that money they found in a recent audit? Is that money not available? Why should we pay for something VDOT can't afford? When I can't afford something, I don't buy it!  (Oct 29, 2010 | post #19)

I read an article on awhile ago that mentioned a lot of blacks fought for the Confederacy. I can't find the article, but I have seen this before. The part about Stonewall Jackson appears to be a big mistake.  (Oct 27, 2010 | post #5)

As a Republican, I find it disheartening that the work of so many is marred by the ignorant act of one. I don't believe the email was forwarded by accident. Who forwards emails that they don't read? We aren't stupid.. But he has stepped down so hopefully we can move forward.  (Oct 19, 2010 | post #8)

Norfolk Public Schools Will Dismiss on a Regular Schedule...

Schools can't seem to win these days. Parents will complain no matter what. If they don't cancel school, they say they should have. If they do cancel school, they complain that it wasn't necessary and that they had to make arrangements with work to be home with their children. If you are concerned that your child will be endangered, then either drive the child yourself, or keep the child home. All the cities are saying is that school is open. If you are such concerned parents then take responsibility for your own children and make the best judgement call as you see fit. Quit complaining..  (Sep 30, 2010 | post #6)

Hampton woman charged with attempted murder: Woman abando...

I was sickened to hear this on the news this weekend. She could have left the baby at a fire station, hospital, anywhere else. Instead she treated an innocent newborn like trash. Well, she's the trash in my eyes and I hope she gets treated like that in jail and later in prison where she belongs.  (Sep 27, 2010 | post #8)

That poor girl! What is the school zone speed limit there? I can't believe that these kids have had to risk their personal safety to get to school!  (Sep 17, 2010 | post #3)
