Actually Nope pharmacies do carry fake oxycontin in case of robberies. I have two family members that work in pharmacies and they are required to attend a seminar each month to practice what to do if they do get robbed. Thanks all who appreciate my post and gave back such positive feedback! Exmethadone..I appreciate your comment and i agree with what you have to say. Yor right not everyone has to hit rock bottom and some get away with being a functional addict. I guess I was just relating to my own personal experiences, but thanks your comment certainly has merit to it. Thanks again everyone for your posts. Im glad I got such good responses. Im tired of ignorant people putting others down because of their addiction problems! Im not an addict but I was once. Almost ruined my entire life because of it. And like most addicts, id say 8/10, I never thought things would become so ugly so quick. Nobody with an addiction problem wants to live their life that way. As for the ones who seem like they are happy living with being an addict, they just havent hit rock bottom yet. Now dont get me confused..there are a decent amount of people that are truly scum, but in my opinion they were most likely already scum before they became an addict. Some of the nicest and most sinsere people I ever met were addicts. They did some things they wish they could take back to support their habits but its not like they are proud of it and glorify their actions. Grow up people and realize that some are just giving you a hint that they want help. Dont be an ass and call them junkies. This doesnt go for the ones scamming others on this site. They are the scum I refrenced to earlier. Notice there are plenty of threads posted by people seeking help and that want to do better, dont let a few imbeciles speak for the majority here!  (Friday Nov 13 | post #1)
