Do Nepalese hate Indians?

Paki boy vcvvvcv why don't you actually argue the issue instead of sounding like a child. Nepal may be poor but India?? Their is more poor people in India than their is people in the whole of sub Saharan Africa. More people with AIDS in India than in any other country on earth. Over 50% of children in India are malnourished according to the WHO. Those slums in Bombay and Calcutta are absolute filth, that put even the worst slums in Africa to shame. Estimated homeless in India is about 60 million people about the population of the UK. India's infrastructure is terrible trains not updated since the British built them. India is 19th century compared to China's 21st century bullet trains Around 40% of Indians don't even have a toilet Which considering India is one big toilet is quite funny really. Most people who go to India get the shits so as the country is a massive toilet its quite fitting really, you wouldn't even be able to smell the difference. With 1.2 billion people and rising India has more problems to deal with than most countries.  (Feb 26, 2014 | post #14)

Do Nepalese hate Indians?

The indigenous people of Nepal are Newars, Magars, Gurungs, Tamangs, Rai, Limbu and Sherpas all have mongol features and language is from the Tibeto-Burman language family. This is similar to Bhutan and the North East Indian states, who are all the indigenous people of the Himalayas. The Khas are ethnic Indians immigrants who are Nepali citizens. They migrated from Rajasthan and Uttarakhand in India to Nepal. Their culture, hindu caste system, language and indo appearance is from India. The Rana dictatorship were not originally called 'Rana's' they adopted the title to demonstrate their close ancestral ties to the Rana's of Rajasthan. They also retained strong links through marriages to princely ruling family's in India. The Shah was a undemocratic tyrant who had many opportunities to establish democracy, equality, abolish the racist and discriminatory hindu caste system and make Nepal a secular state. Linguistic freedom should have been instituted allowing all mother tongues to be used in education, signage, business and official bureaucracy. But he imposed Khas as the national language (Newars were not allowed Nepal Bhasa on their own signs in Kathmandu Valley). Paras Shah was a lowlife criminal thug as crown prince and still is today (arrested in Thailand twice for drugs and criminal damage). The abolition of the tyrannical monarchy who acted as Apartheid dictators was the best thing to happen in Nepal's history. Khas dominated the culture, business and all high level government positions excluding and marginalizing the indigenous from society. Khas religious holidays were made national holiday excluding all others from the Nepali identity. I live in the UK and if a Khas were to say to a English person they are Nepali they would just laugh in their face and think they were some crazy Indian or Pakistani or even a Arab. The world knows Nepali people all look like the Gurkhas or the Sherpas. Their isn't one single globally recognized Khas person. Fact. These are the facts of history you can not change history. Don't be embarrassed or ashamed of your Indian roots as Khas people. The Khas share many similarity with the Madhesi (ethinc Indians from Bihar state) acknowledge, embrace and be proud of your Indian heritage. Indians in Kenya, Malaysia, and Fiji all know they are ethnic Indians but can be citizen of their adopted country. But they are not ethnic Kenyans or Malays or Fijian. So should the Khas know that they are ethnic Indians not Indigenous ethnic Nepalis but they are citizens of their adopted country too. I don't hate Khas I just don't have anything in common with ethnic Indian immigrants in Nepal or the UK.  (Feb 23, 2014 | post #12)
