UConn Stunned By San Diego

I kept saying during the game give them a hard foul. Knock them to the floor make think about taking the jumper. all Robinson had to do was knock the kid to ground and make him shoot at the foul line. they were not good foul shooters? Ah well this team got out hustled and did not show much muscle.. Too bad they did not see the urgency we did. Robinson feels bad and as well should feel bad about his play, but the whole team played in a trance too, the whole team screwed up!  (Mar 22, 2008 | post #57)

After First-Round Loss, UConn Looking To Move Forward

They've won as many with dyson as they have won without him, so it is hard to prove that theory Zete 79. Uconn just needs to buck up and play it one game at a time. See where it leads!  (Mar 15, 2008 | post #12)

Punished For Being Late

Providence will not make it past West Virginia. West Virginia has Huggins in their corner and you can be sure Providence will be crushed. Providence is a very inconsistent team and will return back to their old ways. The Garden is where the Huskies will shine no matter who they play and I think they will prove themselves nicely in this tournament.  (Mar 10, 2008 | post #9)

A One Day Delay

The type of team that Uconn is has not been seen by most of these top tier teams. And that is a7'3' center who can block shots and alter shots. this will change their play and this will cause some of these teams to change their game plans. They are not going to be able to play the way they normally do and this can easily lead to upset. if Uconn plays Defense the way they did today against Cincy then tourney teams have cause to worry if Uconn is in their bracket. Thabeet looks like he could go 11th in the draft so look for the Huskies to make a run in the tourney NCAA tourney that is. Ucla almost got knocked off by Cal if it was not for the illegal shot over the backboard. Cal should have won that, what a home job. My prediction UCLa does not go past sweet 16! Keep rolling Huskies get ready for the second season because it will be a good one!  (Mar 9, 2008 | post #7)

A One Day Delay

Get your head out of your bum you **** ! These hUskies will kick the butt off any team from Ohio for that matter from the ACC too. Give us a shot against the ACC and we will beat them. Providence did all they could to force the game by taking cheap shots whenever they could. The good news is we have a place in the tourney and they do not. This team is a winner and should get to sweet sixteen if not elite eight before it is over  (Mar 9, 2008 | post #3)

UConn Needs Edwards To Play Central Role

If Edwards keeps working there is no reason why he can't play extended minutes for the rest of the season. He has good focus! keep rolling Huskies!  (Mar 3, 2008 | post #2)

Adrien Rises At The RAC

Remember it is only Rutgers? But it was still a chance for the Huskies to put on a clinic! Keep powering up and things will look real good come tourney time. Nice to see Dyson's poker face out there. I really like how Austrie has come around in his absence. Sign up for NCAA Vip pass so you can watch all the games on your computer before it's too late. go to NCAA.com to do this. Keep rolling Huskies!  (Feb 27, 2008 | post #7)

How Is Dyson's Return Game?

Dyson should understand it is all about team play now. His contribution is needed as a team player. Dyson has the heart of a lion and it will be needed as we get into Big East Tourney. Let him work his way back into rotation and I am sure if he makes a mistake Calhoun will pull him back to the bench quickly! Keep rolling Huskies!  (Feb 26, 2008 | post #1)

Villanova 67, Connecticut 65

The cats scratched out a win. It was pretty obvious this was coming sooner or later close wins become close losses. They need to build a margin for error. When Price missed the first of two at the end of the game I new the streak was snapped. Had he made it, it could have gone to overtime. Glad it is over now you move on and win what's left. this is still a very good season for the Huskies!  (Feb 23, 2008 | post #19)

Fitting Conclusion

Nova is a beast of a game Uconn needs to come up big and strong at the basket. If not it is anyones game. Play the three guards with Dyson coming off the bench until he gets his legs back. I like the three guard lineup it opens up more shots closer to the rim when a small man can drive the way our guys do. Keep rolling Huskies keep building!  (Feb 22, 2008 | post #26)

A Peak With No Breeze

They need to play solid defense the whole game if they are to win against Villanova. If not it will be upset city baby and hopefully this team is smart enough to see the writing on the wall before it is too late. Keep rolling huskies but please play some good defense!  (Feb 21, 2008 | post #1)

Doesn't Rate A 10

I see the targets starting to appear on the back of the Huskies shirts. Other teams are gunning for them now, they want to knock off a contender and rightly so. Huskies better step up big time and get their hearts back in because a spanking is coming real soon if this continues.  (Feb 20, 2008 | post #9)
