Steakhouse in Clarkrange

I have some ideas going through my head right now. I realize it would be a bit different since its not big city - but in the same, I thought that maybe people would rather not drive all the way to crossville or cookeville to have a good steak from a place other then a cafe. Just curious. May post an overall poll and see what the consensus is since this is a small town. supply and demand ya know =) Thank you for your information though.  (Jan 23, 2012 | post #8)

Steakhouse in Clarkrange

not looking for places other than clarkrange tn. I know of the BBQ place and the coffee time which is breakfast and lunch - but was wondering if there was something of the nature of an actual steak type place. i am wondering how well a reasonably priced steakhouse would do in this area as i didnt think that there was one here that wasnt a cafe or bbq joint......and rons - isnt that a pizzaria?  (Jan 23, 2012 | post #6)

jobs around this area

trying to keep open minded to really anything in the crossville area. it amazes me how people wont even let you in the door because you have no experience. I have been trying to get into even production lines in this area (keep in mind my recent past years background is office) however the employers dont want anyone through the career center without experience. I can learn anything quite quickly and easily if someone would be able to train, but cant even get my foot in the door. really disappointing. just makes me wish I was back in Texas. There are tons of people who arent trying to work, and after having put literally hundreds of applications in the last year.....just the hardest time in my life Ive ever had getting a job. even applications online, only to get those retarded ass personality tests that tell you your not qualified, even though you have done the job before for years. its as if they want people to stay in poverty and unemployed. im not in poverty, however having worked the past 15 years, this is bull shit. thank god for going back to school, but i still need some type of income coming in!  (Jan 3, 2012 | post #1)

9 fights at york in 3 days !!!!

praying doesnt take the problem away. what activities do these kids have available for them to get involved in? maybe they are bored. maybe they just have no incentive to not fight.  (Nov 22, 2011 | post #23)

Corporal Punishment in Schools

as parents, we are suppose to teach our children right and wrong. kids act up in school because the are either bored, don't care, or weren't taught properly by their parents. having a child that comes from schools that never had "prayer" i can tell you that "praying " has absolutely nothing to do with it. praying doesn't eliminate the problem. what i have noticed around this area is that maybe more extracurricular activities would be an incentive to promote good behavior, and as well good grades! there isn't enough around here. i am sure funding has a lot to do with it, however if children don't have an outlet, then what is left for them to do? as for spanking them as form of punishment by anyone other than their parents...i feel as though that has more negative consequences to it. i mean, don't you feel as though that would ruin a child's spirit to even want to go to school? i received a notice in the first month of being here regarding missing homework and they would spank if it happened again. i flipped out! there are other ways to discipline children in schools. let the punishment fit the crime! let the decision to spank be left on the ones who raise the children. i am for spanking at home if needed, however i also acknowledge that there are those who are against it - so how can the school enforce something that is not enforced by all?  (Nov 22, 2011 | post #32)

crankrange????

that is so true. really all you can do is be aware of the not so good areas. no matter where you live, there are always those known areas that have their stories that keep you taking the long way around rather than taking "that shortcut" road because it cuts right though the middle of trouble. regardless - sure is pretty out here......=)  (Nov 22, 2011 | post #11)
