No More Rallies

I don't need a link to study, I was just pointing out that your statement was grammatically incorrect. It is true though that we have a crime problem in the United States. You point to stats that show high crime in Myrtle Beach. That's cool, whatever you want to dwell on. I am a supervisor for a local utility, My crews work all over the area, from "Little River, SC (lol)" to Georgetown, Cover Horry Georgetown, Williamsburg, and part of Marion and Florence counties. I just don't see or experience the crime that I have seen and experienced in Atlanta, San Diego, Los Angeles, Salt Lake City, Dallas/FW, Denver, New York, Elizabeth NJ, Chicago, Etc. That is what matters to me, being able to stop at McDonalds or KFC for lunch without getting a gun in my face, has it happened? yes, several times, and I have witnessed drug sales and other crimes in every city I have worked in. But all that I have seen in the 2 1/2 years that I have been working in the grand strand area is dope dealers on the corner in depressed areas, just like you will see in every town and city in America. You like to post links to local news stories of crime in the area, when actually, if a person were to view any news site for any town or city that is what is reported on, politics and crime. My point is, your links are not even worth a dime a dozen. There will be no economic demise of the Grand Strand, Quite the contrary, New housing starts have suddenly erupted. My crews were caught off guard because it has been slow for over a year, now we can barely keep up. Hundreds of thousands will vacation here year in and year out whether rallies continue or not, and as I have said before, Motorcycles are not my interest so I don't care about the bike issue one way or another, that is a battle for people that care about that issue. I just wanted to give my point of view about the crime issue and the economic state of the area. The Strand Is experiencing recovery earlier than most areas of the country.  (Sunday | post #1499)

You are wrong about "700 pedophiles living in the area" here is the link: http://www.icrimew atch.net/results.p hp?SubmitAllSearch =1&AgencyID=54 080 This is a "sex offender list" which includes everything from public urination on a golf course to teens caught having sex, all the way up to brutal rape. Only a percentage of the list are actually pedophiles. Secondly, this thread is based on Myrtle Beach, it's Mayor and the Bike rallies. This Sex offender list is for the entire Horry Co. And lastly, the only reason that you are able to provide that number is because in the south law enforcement is so strict on sex offenders that we have easily accessible sex offender lists, complete with photo address and the crime that the perp was convicted of. I spent 30 min and could not find that info for a NY or NJ county. Jesus said men would get worse and worse and then sudden destruction, so your posts about sex and crime actually apply to everywhere and are not news to anyone... I know "Myrtle Beach is Worse, Blah, Blah, Blah," Have fun with BJT 'cause really that is all you are accomplishing, makes for entertaining reading though...  (Sunday Dec 13 | post #1485)

It's not a problem for the "Country Locals" we couldn't give a $hit either way, I personally do hate to see one group of people get singled out and ostracized. It is the wealthy retirees that are pushing this. More and more poshey businesses and residential communities are being built and the desire of the elite is to not have to ever look at anyone that is not "their kind". I lived in Gwinnett county Georgia when there was no 4 lane road, not even I 85 had been built yet. I was all country and a great place to live. The county motto was "Gwinnett is Great". Atlanta went through an economic boom that started in 1976, now Gwinnett is unrecognizable. The wealthy northern business owners settled there took control of the voting block (Majority) and Gwinnett is now one large dangerous city. I can't tell you exactly how many high schools they have in the county but the last time I listed them in my head, there were 13 that were AAAAA schools. and several other smaller high schools and then all the private academies. I say that to show how the control of power was taken over from the true "Locals" by the transplants. I remember saying back in the 80's when it was happening, that it wasn't fair, now I see the same thing happening here. If you read the brief history of Gwinnett co. (1st Link) you will see how the same thing is happening here on the Grand Strand. Something Ironic: several of the PGA tournaments are held in Gwinnett. http://www.gwinnet tcountyga.gov/cgi- bin/gwincty/egov/e p/gcbrowse.do?chan nelId=-54202&p ageTypeId=29599 http://quickfacts. census.gov/qfd/sta tes/13/13135.html  (Nov 14, 2009 | post #1327)

I went and checked, I see what you mean, I would think that it was me too.. It wasn't me though. My statement on this thread stand. I don't like racist bigots. I knew Randy Peters. Didn't know he was Gay , I do remember when he was murdered. I passed the house the Sunday morning in Green Acres, when the police were all over the property. I don't play that crap, didn't know those post were there. I think I know how they got there, wouldn't blame you for not believing that though. My apologies all the same, it must have been a member of my family.  (Nov 5, 2009 | post #69)

Know what you are talking about before you comment. I never commented on the Randy Peters thread. You obviously have me confused with someone else. Also I have owned a home in Monroe for 20 years and I live in Myrtle beach as well. To answer your question, It is neither OK to be Bigoted nor to Joke about a Murdered person. Lastly you don't own the Internet, I will surf where I please and Comment where I please I probably know more about Monroe than you do, if I don't it makes no difference, you are just trash looking for an argument. The reply I made was not to you. Kiss my A$$  (Nov 5, 2009 | post #65)

Student shot dead, officer stabbed at Myrtle Beach school

I don't care either way about who is the next MB mayor, but it is useful to note: 52% of votes went against John Rhodes however 72% of votes went against Mark McBride, Rhodes' runoff opponent. I would have to take the odds that Rhodes will probably keep his position... And let me re-iterate, I don't care which one is the next mayor, I realize that some have an Ax to grind with Rhodes though...  (Nov 4, 2009 | post #101)

Yeah if you don't register to use "TOPIX" then the correct location does not show under your name. I am in MB but my ISP connection is in Florence SC. I am a registered user so I was able to insert the nam of the city I live in as well as a headline "Conservative not Republican" but then again maybe Commerce GA is the trailer park you live in out past the Mill Village you Bigoted Ba$tard. If you lived near me I would whoop your a$$ every day just to learn you some manners.  (Nov 4, 2009 | post #62)

Why does the local police allow garbage like this?

I can't believe it, I responded to the wrong post again.  (Nov 3, 2009 | post #24)

Why does the local police allow garbage like this?

It's actually a libertarian belief that prostitution should be legal, not "ultra-libera l" Libertarians believe that if your actions do not infringe on another persons civil rights (Life, Liberty, and Property) then the action should not be illegal.  (Nov 3, 2009 | post #23)

Just a thought, it wouldn't surprise me. I didn't thoroughly study the site, but I never saw an outright offer of sex for money.  (Nov 1, 2009 | post #8)

Health Care - Myrtle Beach, SC

And that is what is one of the problems in the healthcare industry. More Govt control would only make matters worse. Frivolous medical lawsuits cause high malpractice insurance premiums for doctors, which is the main issue that needs to be addressed.  (Oct 28, 2009 | post #6)
