Man shot, killed at Brattleboro Coop

http://law.cornell .edu/uscode/html/u scode38/usc_sup_01 _38.html Why donít you go to that link and read for yourself. I did sign up and I know what I was getting into. So I knew if I was hurt the government would pay for injuries sustained during service. Just like when you are flipping your burgers at White Castle and the affirmative action hire bumps into you causing you to land face first in the fryer. Is this how it goes? (You knew what you were getting into when you took the job, what makes you so important)? No youíre the guy who sues and sits at home playing xbox and pulling your pud. We don't have workmenís comp insurance. If we do get injured while we are in and have 4 back surgeries because the doctor didn't know what he was doing, we by law cannot sue him. (Iím that Navy doctors practical app. I had the military operate on me four times and itís worse than when they started.) No special perks? Everyday I read about another CEO, VP getting a 50 million dollar bonus. Doormen even get a Christmas bonus, every job I have had outside the military we had incentive programs Christmas bonuses. All those professionals are vital to our economy and most companies offer a retirement plan or 401k. More or less important? You have been going to Headlines to often. Without a military to protect your assets what would you have and how much would gas, food basic living essentials cost? Have you been to a third world country? Oh its nice, tons of food to eat, crystal clear drinking water on every corner, and the toilet facilities. Why do you think all great nations have a military? Entitlement no! A little help yes. I feel I have earned it. Is that a reasoned response? Next time use your real name our keep your cock holster shut.  (Aug 11, 2011 | post #98)

Marine Vet from vt

Joined in 96 did not want to be an under achiever like most of my living with their parents friends. Why do so many Vermonters settle for so little? Content just getting by week by week. I wanted to do something more than pull on cow tits play softball on Friday night and spend my weekend drunk and stoned. Only to do it all over again the next week. I do kick myself every once in awhile since they opened the bar back up in Vernon. Could of been like Norm.....if only Cam would of opened the bar sooner. Strolling of the heifers every yr, celebrate diversity for the fourth.Naaaaww I'll tale Djibouti 110 degrees training with French Foreign Legions.  (Aug 10, 2011 | post #5)

A little history about MM. Former VY employee who documented everything during his uneventful tenure there. Employees who worked with him or during the same time as him had these delightful comments to say about him. "dishonest " "not trust worthy" "he seemed to be on his own program" "nut job" "destructive " "he only did something if there was something in it for him" I think we get the picture. MM had been leaking information about the plant to outside sources while working for VY. VY finally found out and he was terminated. You may now find MM at many of his new job locations. In front of the Brattleboro post office expressing his concerns for our involvement in this illegal war. Or maybe by the Hinsdale bridge with his impeach Bush sign or my fav support Dean for President. Really eye opening and refreshing to know their is common sense citizens still out there. When I went home with any of my marine brothers we were always welcomed in their home town bars. Free drinks nice people. When I go home it's only when I have to. Vermont has one of the lowest ratings of any state for disabled veterans benefits. You don't even get a free fishing license. Heaven forbid you give a veteran who can't work a break on his property taxes. 9th highest property tax. The most a Vet can get is 40,000.$ off value of home regardless of % of disability. Most states don't tax 100% disabled vets. In NC I pay 868.$ a yr for the same size home in Vernon I pay 2800.$.  (Aug 10, 2011 | post #91)

They run the town make all the "suggestions " and keep all their money overseas so they don't have to pay taxes. They hang out at McNeill's discussing new strategies to smear Entergy, and discuss 911 conspiracy theories. In the summer they hit the farmers market in the morning, bike over to the common for some lunch of fiddle head ferns, boca burgers and a tofu salad. Now for a little hackie sac and frisbee. Now on our way to The Marina for a plate of asparagus. Now for the really important discussion. What waitress is the hottest this yr and who is gonna bed her first. Crap forgot my coffee at Mocha Joes this morning.  (Aug 10, 2011 | post #53)
