Helen Zille is out of line

Thabo there you again wanting to use the 2/3 to the benefit of the ANC. The people of WC democratically voted who they voted for and so lets all respect that. Western Cape has always been the ANC's worst nightmare. Zille has dug her own grave by appointing an all male and dominantly white Executive for that province. But having said that, yena kannete ke mosadi ya seleng and the WC will never be transformed as long as the likes of Zille are in power. Thabo I was in Cape Town last month my man and its still as racist as it were in 1997 when i first went there...The ANC shot themselves on the foot by firing Rasool as he had the support of many there...Now it will take them a while before they can win it again with the emerger of parties like COPE....  (May 14, 2009 | post #31)

Helen Zille is out of line

Im not a great fan of Zuma for obvious reason that you are all aware of, but Zille is really out of line this time around. She needs to deal with the fact that Zuma is now her President whether she likes it or not. How the hell does she go public and say that Zuma has exposed his wifes to HIV. Why couldnt she say this 2 years ago after Zuma was acquitted. I think her remarks were totally disrespectful to Zuma as an individual and as her President. She clearly cant draw the line between Zuma and the ANC leader and Zuma as the President of the Republic. She must be called to order and i dont think the ANCYL were right to even respond to these remarks. Zille ke mosadi ya seleng wa leburu...  (May 12, 2009 | post #1)

Where are those COPE followers?

Tel Aviv mora moshana nkhono u buile ditaba tsa nnete le ha u ka thola. Molala the 800 000 more votes the ANC got is mostly from newly registered voters who enjoyed the song Letha Umshini wami that what the song really symbolises. The ANC's true success in this past election would have been to make sure that they do better than 2004 and before seeing that they spent over R250 million on this campaign. You talk of COPE members as Power hungry and greedy individual but yet the same people RESIGNED from their respective High profiled positions in government to pursue their political careers. If they were really greedy they would have stayed there like bo Manto and Balfour and be sidelined like now.  (May 12, 2009 | post #16)

Where are those COPE followers?

Molala ke dumellana le wena on certain issues. COPE has caused more damage to the smaller opposition parties than it did to the ANC. But the question you need to ask yourself is where that 7% would have went if COPE wasnt formed. Its no secret that COPE is a breakaway party from the ANC and majority of people who voted for it would have voted for ANC under normal circumstances. The Western Cape alone couldnt have caused the ANC to loose the 2/3 Majority. Im sure le wena you know this. So vote ya macoloured has always eluded the ANC from 1994 and that is not gonna change now. COPE is only less than 6 months old but yet they were able to secure 30 seats in Parliament. To me that is an achievement given that they didnt have Gaddaffi and Republic of China to pump funds for their election Campaign.  (May 12, 2009 | post #13)
