2008 Presidential Election

'Great Schlep' pitches Obama to Florida Jews

Sometime over a thousand years ago, a white man or white men arrived in Africa. Perhaps he fell into the sea near Europe and clung to a floating log for survival. His simple mind would have been unable to compel him to swim back. His primal instincts and fears told to hang to the log. He hung on for so long that he found himself on an African beach. And once there he saw for the first time, civilized peoples who could speak and write. Who wore clothes and who build magnificent cities and temples that last for thousands of years. Who practiced medicine and who charted the stars. These civilized Africans were of black skin and today they are still African, where ever they may be. The white man, slow and unthinking, could not comprehend what they saw. Their fear and uncertainty turned to fear and eventually turned to hate. The Africans who encountered these white people took pity on them. They fed them, bathe them, gave them shelter and taught them basic language skills and how to use basic tools. And then the Africans returned them to Europe in an African ship and thought no more of these curious and simple white creatures. What these Africans did not know at the time was that their acts of kindness planted seeds of destruction. In time, the white man in Europe grew into a cruel beings who would return to Africa in ships of their own to enslave and kill Africans and to steal their knowledge. Today we see simple and cruel white people who refuse to vote and support Barack Obama; a son of the Kings and Queens of Africa. http://truthfirstn ow.blogspot.com  (Oct 14, 2008 | post #56)

2008 Presidential Election

Obama will bring justice to America

Obama will bring social, moral and economic justice to America. America has never known true justice and Obama will change that. America clearly needs economic justice now more than ever. Obama is following the Africa principal of UJIMA which is collective work and responsibility. That is, to build and maintain our community together to make our sister and brothers’ problems our problems and to solve them together. I have helped Senator Obama get in touch with his Africa heritage and as President, he will rule with the wisdom of his African forefathers. http://truthfirstn ow.blogspot.com  (Oct 14, 2008 | post #1)

2008 Presidential Election

God will damn America if Obama is not elected President

Make no mistake: It is Barack Obama's destiny to be President of the United States. Justice demands it. The Truth demands it. The World demands it. Oppressed peoples throughout the world are looking to Obama for hope. For Justice. For an to war. For America to stop attacking the world and for it to start being a just and peaceful member of the community of nations. If for some reason he is not elected then there will be a cry of outrage so great that America and all its racist institutions will shake and collapse. It will be the end of America and God will damn it for its final and most terrible sin. http://truthfirstn ow.blogspot.com  (Oct 14, 2008 | post #1)

McCain is using Sarah Palin a racist tactic against Senat...

The campaign to stop the presidency of Barack Obama reached a new low today with the announcement that John McCain has selected Sarah Palin, a white woman, to be his vice-presidential running mate. As a further insult, McCain referred to Palin as being the “next vice president” of the United States as if Barack Obama did not exist or won’t be winning the election this November. The use of Palin as a political tool is racist and a direct attack on Senator Obama. It is an attempt to reinvigorate the old stereotypes that African men (or Negroes as they were called) are lustful creatures who eye white women as sexual prizes to be claimed. It is also attempt by McCain to get Senator Obama killed. In many U.S. states it is still illegal for any African man to look at, touch, or speak with a white woman. McCain is trying to set up a circumstance where Obama would do one of the three with Palin in one of these states and have him imprisoned or lynched. In addition, McCain does this just as a Hurricane is bearing down on New Orleans which was attacked by the Bush regime’s Katrina in 2005. http://truthfirstn ow.blogspot.com  (Sep 2, 2008 | post #1)

Joe Biden

Obama cannot trust Joe Biden

The past 24 hours have played host to a series of disturbing developments concerning Barack Obama and his vice-presidential selection. I have advised Senator Obama on this matter and have made the case to him on several occasions on the necessity of choosing a fellow African. As many of us know presently, it appears that Senator Obama has chosen a white man named Joe Biden to be his vice-president. The disappointment and shock that many of us in the African community feel is too raw to describe in any adequate manner at this moment. Who is Joe Biden? He is a U.S. Senator from Delaware, a state with a long history of slavery and racial hatred towards the people of Africa. His family owned Africans as slaves. Biden has joked about this. In 2006 he stated that Delaware was a “slave state that fought beside the North. That’s only because we couldn’t figure out how to get to the South. There were a couple of states in the way.” Biden also insulted Senator Obama by saying that Obama is the only African who is “clean and articulate”. He has said that people from India can only function as convenience store clerks. Senator Obama, I plead with you. Do not walk down this path. I risk my friendship and partnership with you but I have no choice. The people of Africa and the world deserve better. Joe Biden cannot be trusted. He is not on your side. He does not care about us. http://truthfirstn ow.blogspot.com  (Aug 23, 2008 | post #1)

African-American

Farrakhan blasts educational system

On October 16, 1995 millions of African men heeded the call from the leader and the Supreme Minister of the Nation of Islam to gather in the white man’s capital city of Washington, DC. I attended the event along with several of my students, colleagues and friends. It was one of the most important days in African history, a moment in time when we united as one to take a stand against the white man at the very place where he plotted against us. It was the largest gathering of human beings at one location on Earth. It was also the day when I first met Barack Obama. We gathered on that fateful day to be strong African men who would defend our families, history and culture. The spirit of that day was like nothing I had ever experienced, or have experienced since. I marched down to the National Mall with fellow Africans of all ages. When I reached the stage area on the steps of the Capitol and looked out into a sea of African men, many who stood for at least 10 hours, I held back tears. I knew this day would forever cause a change, if not in the world, certainly in me. A colleague of mine, Mosi Kenyatta introduced me to Obama. Kenyatta told me that Obama was a teacher such as me who taught Obama taught law at the University of Chicago and that he also had plans to enter politics. I told Obama that I was pleased to hear this as the African people needed leaders who could help protect us from the white power structure. I briefly inquired of him as to what he knew of African history and great African leaders. I reminded him that he was the son of Kings and Queens and the no white man could ever hold him in judgment. Obama promised me he would do what he could should he win election. He expressed hope that we could meet again. We wished each other "amahoro " and parted ways. This was the day that Obama took his major first step towards the American Presidency. The inspiration of Farrakhan was undeniable and like the millions of other African men that day, Obama found his calling and discovered the path he must take. Today I join him on that path so that we can bring forth the vision of hope that Farrakhan showed us that day. http://truthfirstn ow.blogspot.com  (Aug 13, 2008 | post #807)

2008 Presidential Election

Hagel as Obama veep draws concern from both sides

Barack Obama must make the important decision of choosing a running mate. The power structure in America has always been set up so that a white man would choose another white man to be the Vice President. But Barack Obama has changed that forever. Sadly, Obama will have to consider choosing a white person for the role. Naturally, this presents a number risks. Is there a white person out there that Obama can trust? Someone who won't try to assassinate Obama to gain power? (We saw this happen in 1963 with the Kennedy killing). By selecting a white person Obama may gain more votes but he could lose much in the way of his own security. I will do my best to advise Obama in the coming weeks on this matter. http://truthfirstn ow.blogspot.com  (Aug 13, 2008 | post #9)

2008 Presidential Election

Interview with Barack Obama - Part I

TF: We first met back in 1995 at the Million Man March in Washington. Looking back now at the way things were and the way things are now it is truly amazing that you are so close to being President of the United States, isn't it? Senator Obama: It is. The march was a formative moment for African-Africans everywhere and I think it reminded many of us that we did have the power to make a difference. Our lives didn't have to be guided by events and forces beyond our control. And here we are today. TF: And the next year you were elected to the Illinois State Senate. Senator Obama: Yes. I felt I had a responsibility to make a difference. I didn't just want to maintain an office but to improve lives. That's why I focused on legislation that would health insurance for struggling people and worked to pass bills to increase funding for AIDS prevention and care programs....http:/ /truthfirstnow.blo gspot.com  (Aug 13, 2008 | post #1)

Entertainment

"Tropic Thunder" is a racist film

With Barack Obama on the verge of becoming the next American President it seems that the white establishment has declared an unofficial war on all things African. The latest attack arrives in theatres this week with the new American film, "Tropic Thunder" in which a white man (Robert Downey Jr. pictured above) puts on blackface and pretends to be a son of Africa. A white man was recently caught plotting to assassinate Senator Obama, the African mayors of Detroit and Baltimore are being harassed by the white legal system and the American entertainment system creates films such as "Tropic Thunder". This film is also an insult since it makes light of the fact that the U.S. government forced thousands of African men to take part in its war of aggression against the people of Vietnam. There is nothing amusing about blackface. It is a highly racist and offensive depiction of Africans. Its sole purpose is to demean us and to propagate the stereotype that Africans are on this Earth merely for the amusement and abuse of the white man. http://truthfirstn ow.blogspot.com  (Aug 12, 2008 | post #1)
