meth bust

For some reason this thing won't let me vote, but fortunately it does let me reply. There is no need "trash" anyone. We are only human, and because one man is less fortunate than another, it is no cause for us to judge. There is ONE Judge... at least when it comes to how good or how bad we are. Jesus is that Judge.  (Oct 7, 2012 | post #5)

Does god exist?

For one, in August of 1989, I was sitting on a bench in a large lobby entrance of a hospital in Nashville. I never saw such a huge lobby in my life! There were at least 200 people walking all over the place! My dad had died and I had been praying strongly during a previous walk around most of the hospital from outside before sitting and resting. Anyway, all at once my eyes focused on two ladies that entered through the double doors. They didn't stop to ask, "Do you know such and such,"...they didn't even turn their heads (as I did) on way to sit down. They walked right up to me and asked, "Is your name 'Debbie'?" I confirmed and they introduced themselves. The one that stood on my right did the most talking. She said, "My name is Mary, and this is Martha. We need to talk to you." Well, I had no objections. I invited them to sit. In fact, after I thought about it, I don't think the other lady ever did speak. Anyway... they sat... and told me, "Your dad is in heaven right now rejoicing with our Father and he is singing unto the Lord." I then had peace knowing even though my dad was an atheist for so many years, he had finally accepted Christ as his Saviour. After they had their say, the two stood up and began walking back towards the door and disappeared into the crowd. It was amazing. I knew God had sent his angels to answer my question and aching heart. No one can ever take that away from me.  (Sep 25, 2012 | post #880)

Prayers, Please

I know you've heard the saying ''You've got to crawl before you can walk" and "Walk before you can run," but if God does what I think He is gonna do, we all might be for a surprise. As for me, either one or both would be blessing(s). Please keep me in your prayers and please don't give up on me! Thank you.  (Sep 20, 2012 | post #13)

Prayers, Please

Thank you so much. I am so thankful to be able to say that today I felt that my legs seemed stronger. I am also thankful to say that I know in my heart that I won't give up. I DO claim His healing. I want the world to know that. And when He DOES heal me, I will shout it out to the world and boy will you ever know it! One day at a time.. that is all we can do. Yet with the strength that I felt today, for the first time in almost SEVEN years ... not TWO... I was about to dance! Keep me in your prayers, and believe me as I say I am going to praise God in return!  (Sep 20, 2012 | post #12)

Prayers, Please

I'm thankful to say the headaches have cleared up. Thanks so much for your prayers. xxxx As for the physical sense/legs, etc., I still ask prayers. I know in my heart it can be done. I had someone to tell me today that I'd never get off the walker or any other aids/supports. I do not believe that. Not at all. A little bit of faith goes a long way. Yet on the other hand, within the past month, I've had THREE (3) people to tell me either they've come off a walker.. and know the Lord is the One to thank, or a voice of encouragement not to give up. They each had to believe in the Lord. Well, so do I. I intend to one morning stand up, walk outside, and be able to donate every aid I have to others. Again, thank you for your prayers. xxxx  (Sep 15, 2012 | post #9)

Okay. I guess I am a bit thrown off for some reason here. Did I miss something? I will say, however, I've been honest with you.  (Sep 12, 2012 | post #875)

Prayers, Please

My head has been hurting alot lately. There are other physical problems as well. I would dearly love to be able to run again, even if just a short distance. Okay, I'd honestly dearly like to walk again without aids and supports of others. Thank you. By the way, I know that Jesus promises where two are gathered in His name, it will be done. Thank you.  (Sep 12, 2012 | post #1)

His words are to shake the dust off my feet, so I am. Still, I will remember you in my prayers. Matthew10:14 "And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet"  (Sep 11, 2012 | post #154)

It has already happened. Lucifer's name was changed after the fall. Let me show you: Isaiah 14:12-14 "How art thou fallen from heaven O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken thenations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregatin, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds: I will be like the most High." Then verse 15 tells of his fate: "Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit." It began telling that Lucifer was cut down as low as the ground. 'Son of the morning' was his nickname. He was also called that because of his extreme beauty. BUT... when he decided he was going to 'ascend above the heights of the clouds AND be like the most High,' he was cast down. His ego took over. In the Book of Revelation, Chapter 9, verses 1 and 2, Lucifer was referred to as a star. Verse 2 "And he opened the the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit."  (Sep 10, 2012 | post #870)

The only thing I will say is I'm not God. God is not mocked. Nor would I even dare to tempt Him. I will leave the miracles in His hands.  (Sep 10, 2012 | post #869)

I meant "house" not 'huse'.  (Sep 10, 2012 | post #142)

Wrong, thanksfully. He will forgive you. If you willingly ask Jesus to come into your heart, and ask Him to forgive you of your wrongdoings, He WILL forgive. Our flesh is sinful, but Jesus knows our heart, and if you come forth to Him whole-heartedly, He WILL forgive you and come to you, and never leave you. One of my favorite and most blessed promises He has given me, He will also give you. "I will never leave you nor forsake you." In other words, He will be there for you, to listen to you, so you can talk to Him anytime. Rather it be for prayer, or for rejoicing, He IS forgiving. John 14:1-4 "Let not your heart be troubled; ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's huse are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where i am, there ye may be also. And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know." By the way, 'whither' means 'where ever'.  (Sep 10, 2012 | post #141)
