I wish you the best! You certainly can't do any worse than the Rices'. I can remember when they were building their "Castle" and Jane Rice had oriental carpets stored at L & H Trucking. She had them sent in from overseas and then would take them to the house and see if she liked them....If not she would send them back overseas. Talk about acting like you were better than everyone else? I just can't stand people like that. She spent more $$$ shipping carpets back and forth that most of us "normal" people will make in the next five years. Good riddance Mike and Jane!  (Saturday Oct 24 | post #40)

Dream on....They will have to acquire a few more companies to even make Frito look twice. Frito is King and always will be. It's pretty bad when Frito can come into Hanover and kick UTZ's butt in sales? Think not? I have the research to prove it. Not to mention the main force behind Fritos' Hanovers' sales are from an Ex- UTZ Salesman? Unfortunately you will always have a few brainless stupid "BANDWAGON " harley riders that try to think they are cool :) No matter what anyone says you will still have the die hard harley dude that is trying to act like they are cool. They are really just being an idiot dpending money on a piece of junk. But there is no way to reason with them about that! For them, thinking they can get another "BOOB" shot is all they have to look forward too. Whoopee! Whatever.,,,Seen one set of boobs...seen em' all. That;s just the simple minds we are trying to reason with. It's not worth the breath anymore. It's like arguing with a pig. In reality...Who really cares? It's just potato chips right? Well, not really.....As with all major acquisitions there will be layoffs. It's just business, period! Meanwhile Bill and Sadie UTZ should be flipping in their graves. I do applaud Mike Rice though in not handing over ther reigns to his son; who could care less about the company and would run it into the ground anyway. Just one final cha-ching for the Rices'. Never gonna happen. It's pretty bad when Frito come into UTZ's own backyard and beats them! I know, I was the regional sales manager for Frito Lay and I can tell you we kicked UTZ teeth in when it came to market share, and Snyders didn't even show up on or sales charts!
