I have an amazing job, well three amazing jobs. I am a mom, I also own trucking companies, and I just launched a brand new company(cleaning foreclosed and abandon properties). I love everything I do. Being a mom is obviously amazing, I love running trucking companies and I actualy love the rules and regulations, my new company is easy so far but fun. I manage to do it all with my children with me, they have never seen a babysitter and never will. My husband and I enjoy what we do very very much. (May 29, 2008 | post #4)

Sad. However in my opinion, as a business owner, I see a lot of this as being ill prepared. I shudder at the thought of those who buy a truck and a trailer then hit the road without a thought of what might get thrown their way. High fuel prices were in no way an overnight shock. This was foreseen and predicted, then slowly it happened. SOME companies prepared by increasing their rates and surcharges BEFORE it was $4.30 a gal. Trucker protest convoys to D.C.
Hate to be the bearer of bad news and all BUT these protests are useless without OOIDA'a support. Untill that happens and there is a MASS shutdown, you know more than a few hundred trucks, no one will look. Maybe if all the trucks delivering to Walmart just didn't deliver and sat in the parking lot blocking the entrance, maybe that would make the news. (May 6, 2008 | post #5)
Catholic schools' enrollment drops
As a graduate of WRACS it is no suprise. There is a lack of quality religious education, lack of structure, and overall academic inadequacies. IF the local Catholic schools began teaching Catholic theology correctly (and not to their own beliefs), and had the structure to set them apart from public school maybe they would see a change.
