Yes I support this, It is Time for our Government to stop the "Pre-Existing " clause insurance companies use and to help the Low Income and Poor be able to obtain Insurance and to help Small Businesses with few employees to have some type of Insurance plan in which they can afford to offer to their employees. But lets remember it still need Senate Approval and then Final approval from the House after the senate puts in their changes,I hope they get this a bill and then Law before the end of 2009. Joe It is not "ObamaCare " it is "Health Care", I am damn glad this bill passed the House and it was before midnight as i watched the process myself on Live Video. Now it is up to the Senate so every one reading this (that is a registered voter), Please call your Senators and ask them to Support this bill,This Bill is not law yet and it still needs the Senators to approve it or a variation there of. There are Millions of Americans that need some type of Insurance but are unable to get it. If you have ever been to the Emergency Rooms in Columbus or Phenix City you would know that the staffs, doctors and nurses are overwhelmed with patients that are crowding these emergency rooms for minor illnesses and would have seen a practicioner(Docto r) at their offices if these patients only had Insurance. Also the "Pre-Existing Condition" clause the insurance companies use now are getting so redicolous these days. This is a major problem with insurance companies denying claims for something as simple as a Sore Throat or Cold by using this clause. This has to stop so that people can get insurance, jobs,and get our economy back on track for our future, Our Childrens future and the future of our Country. Well I have my doubts as to who you state that you are, my reason is you are stating things that are inconsistant with what information I have which is what the news media was reporting and what was told to me by the detectives. No my dad did not use my SS # why do you ask? He was not running from the police,why do you ask?,Who were they that shot your brother?Why do you want to be detrimentle to me with this comment(if your not eligible for social security try welfare or you could become a truck driver like your dad), You do not know a Damn Thing about me, like I know nothing about you,MY dad will die one day, just like you and I will die someday. Like I said I am sorry that this man lost his life, it is sad. But remember the legal system in our country is a person charged with a crime is INNOCENT until PROVEN GUILTY.  (Sep 4, 2009 | post #8)

Yes You are basing your opinion on what the news media is saying. Richard Earl Rodgers is my fathers real name,(the name he was born with),He was using the other name because he himself was the victim of a crime in another state and was under witness protection at the time this incident happened. He has not admitted to murdering this man, He stated to my sister that this man broke into his home in the middle of the night and he shot him in his apartment as he was fearing for his life at the time, hince this would be Self Defense. He did not flee the state he was released and told he was not being charged and he was free to go. So therefore being afraid for his life and the life of his family members and children's life he left Arizona and moved to California. Yes I pray for the victims family myself,As for the man's wife and children, I have no knowledge that he was married or had any children. As for me myself I lived without my father in my life for most of my life but I did have contact when he would come into town on his truck and visit us. When I was 17 years old I lost contact with my father due to his being placed into Witness Protection, as this is what I was told anyway,until December 1999 I had no idea if he was dead or alive.Then he contacted me at the time my mother was having surgery after she had a stroke,he let me know he was alive and since then We had spoken on the telephone and communicated through my sisters and myself. As for you being the victim of a crime,join the crowd as I am the victim of several crimes myself. That is why I do what I do now, I fight for Victims Rights each day as well as human rights,helping the needy and poor citizens of my community. I just ask that you do not make judgement based on what has been told in the media. Lets not forget the way our Justice System is supposed to work,"Innocen t until Proven Quilty" as of today 9/3/09, MY Father Richard Earl Rodgers has not been Convicted of this Crime. No They arrested the wrong man. They arreseted my father and it has nothing to do with him being sick. How would you like it if you found out your father was missing and in Police custody and Long Beach Police and Los Angeles Sheriffs Department both Law Enforcement Agencies in California,did not either know California Missing Persons Laws or were just determined not to follow them. Yes, what kind of officer is he? Kind of hard to dispute that President Obama was born in Hawaii after Hawaii was admitted to the United States therefore President Obama is a naturally born American Citizen. Just sounds to me the jerk likes the pay but does not want to deploy which is his duty and which he is paid to do.
