What is wrong with mutts???? NOTHING!!!! My American Bulldog-Boxer mix is a mutt (rescued). My German Shepherd-Pitbull is a mutt (also rescued). My third dog, a female Pitbull is a mutt too, she is NOT full Pitbull, we don't know what she is mixed with. I was only stating my opinion about breeding MORE mutts (two breeds, three, four, what difference does it make), when there are hundreds and thousands of dogs dying every day in shelters and pounds. I'm willing to bet my right arm you can find the mix you are looking for in a shelter somewhere if you look hard enough. As for Rotties and Dobes, my mother had a purebred Dobe and my daughter had a purebred Rottie, Awesome awesome dogs!  (Nov 3, 2009 | post #28)

Could you please post a link where it is "proven" that pitbulls are "more likely to attack", or....did you just pull this info out of your ass? You might want to open that book yourself. The pitbull can be DOG aggressive, but 99 out of 100 LOVE PEOPLE. It's the bad owners who end up with a bad dog...of ANY breed. Saying pitbulls cause more damage when they bite, well no shit! They are very strong dogs. What would you rather get bitten by...a pitbull or a poodle? I'd pick the poodle, but thats about as stupid as asking who would you rather get punched in the face by...your 3 yr old or a professional boxer? There are no bad dogs, they are not born with a desire to kill and maim. They are TAUGHT. When you have a bad dog, there is ALWAYS a bad human behind it. Go back and read that link again dipshit. It said pitbull "TYPE' DOGS, not "Pitbulls ". What exactly IS a "pitbull type dog"??? Those are all the dogs that morons like you SAY is a pitbull. Example...my white American Bulldog-Boxer mix has been called a "Pitbull " (he's not even close). My sisters brindel (purebred)Boxer has been called a "Pitbull ", my brothers brindel JRT has been called a "Pitbull ". Just because someone SAYS its a Pitbull, does not mean it IS a Pitbull. And...my half German Shepherd, half Pitbull....you would never think for one second that he is half pitbull, because he does not LOOK like one. A true American Pitbull Terrier does NOT weigh 80 to 100 lbs. Razors Edge dogs are NOT TRUE American Pitbull Terriers. You people are part of the problem, breeding the Pitbull with Mastiff type dogs to make them "bigger" . Do you ever stop to think what you are doing to these dogs, health-wise, not to mention their temperment? I've seen some of those dogs, super wide in the chest, short stubby legs, huge heads, you can hear them breathing a mile away.
