'Ugly Date' Over, Letterman Re-Books McCain

All you candy- **** right-wing fruitcake idiots STILL won't address the original situation. So, here it is: 1. McCain committed to Letterman. 2. McCain canceled on Letterman saying he needed to go back to D.C. OK, fine. 3. McCain did not go back to D.C., instead he did another interview when he was supposed to be on Letterman. Please tell me why Letterman is wrong to be **** off??? John McCain: a man of his word! P.S. I'm still waiting for an explanation.......  (Oct 23, 2008 | post #10)

Anonymous, I'd bet dollars to doughnuts (no pun intended) you're conveniently omitting a few details, like you're disposition? Your "I'm an angel and I was terrorized" story doesn't fly.  (Jul 18, 2008 | post #9)

Texas OKs Expanded Wind Power Project

Doctor, those are only the high capacity turbines. For the most part, the bird-killing turbines are an eco-myth.  (Jul 17, 2008 | post #3)

Underground Pot Farm Discovered In Red Oak

There is no shortage of other much more dangerous illegal drugs than marijuana to combat. We will hardly run out of crime to police, so their jobs really aren't in jeopardy. Some could even use their experience to assume a regulatory role in the very industry they used to police. Crime NEVER pays in the end, what an ignorant statement. And the law enforcers aren't profiting, they are drawing a paycheck. Not the same thing.  (Jul 15, 2008 | post #11)

Starbucks Releases List Of First Stores To Close

I say good riddance! Maybe a mom and pop place will finally have a chance without STARCROOKS predatory pricing them out of the market. I hate these economic terrorists.  (Jul 15, 2008 | post #12)

I don't smoke pot but this sucks. That marijuana represents at least as much if not more in tax revenue than it's estimated revenue. Legalize the damn stuff already. I agree with Brian, there are far worse things to deal with. No one ever OD'd and fell over dead from smoking a doobie.  (Jul 12, 2008 | post #3)

Skinny Dippers Threaten Portland's Drinking Water

My problem is with the headline. If they were wearing swim suits there wouldn't have been any danger of contamination? It's jut their usual sensationalism insulting us all. If they didn't get to say "skinny dipping" it wouldn't have made the back page of The Frogjaw Telegram.  (Jul 5, 2008 | post #35)
