I was searching the internet today (3/29/2012) and found this information on the BBB Business Review web site that might be of interest to anyone that lost money behind Katour Line Enterprises: Additional Information On September 19, 2011, the company filed for bankruptcy under Chapter 7 of the federal Bankruptcy Act, case number 11-32415. Those with monetary claims against the company are advised to obtain a Proof of Claim form by writing to North Carolina Western Bankruptcy Court CM/ECF, 401 West Trade St., Charlotte, NC, 28202 for resubmission to that court. Sylvia, I received a letter from the Atty Gen Office of NC, Consumer Affair. In the letter it says Katour Line...Collection failed to response to their latest correspondence requesting a reply to my letter dated April 5, 2011. And they have attempted to contact Karen Henderson by telephone, without success. They say my next alternative is to seek legal counsel, or file a small claims court, which means I would have to file the small claims in NC. Plus, they suggest I contact my credit card company in writing to dispute the charge; I cannot dispute the charge because I am pass the 90 days period to dispute. I placed my order September 27, 2010; which is 8 months. Basically, I am out of my $330 with no product. If I lived in NC, I would file a small claim against Katour. I have to figure out what to do. I looked at the FTC web site and I do not see anything that says they would help to assist with helping a person to recoup their money from a company that is fraudulent in their business practice on the web. Sylvia I contacted my credit card company 01/2011 to see if I could recoup my $330, and they told me I had 90 days after purchase date to file a complaint. I spoke to Karen Henderson on 12/19/2010 and she ensure me that I would receive my wigs in 2011; however, she rushed me off the phone before I could ask her when in 2011. So, I followed up with an email that I received no reply to and called several times and constantly received there voicemail that says it wasn't an answering service and to email the company for a reply regarding an order status. I kinda knew something was wrong when I never received a reply from the company to my many emails, or my wigs. This is when I requested the assistance of the Atty Gen Office of NC to see if they could assist me with recouping my money. I am going to send a letter to the Atty Gen Office of NC and inform them of what is going with this company right now regarding their claim of transferring ownership effective June 1, 2011, and that they have advise customer who have placed an order with them to contact their bank for a refund. Plus, if they are changing ownership, I agreed it should be posted on their web site, or the web site shut down until the change of ownership; my gut tells me whomever is running Katour is scamming consumers. I bet you if someone is looking at Katour web site right now to make a purchase they will be scammed like us. I will keep you posted with my progress with this issue.  (May 21, 2011 | post #150)

I am pass the period to try and get my money back by my credit card company. I placed my order 9/2010 and never received my wigs to date. I have been working with the Atty Gen Office of NC. Katour Line did reply about a system failure that happen 1/2011 and that they would offer me 2 wig cleaning services if I still want the wigs. LOL 2 wig cleaning services, I never received the wigs. I declined there offer because I should have received my order in 2010. I requested a full refund. To date Katour has not responded to my request. Atty Gen Office sent out another letter to the company requesting a reply to my request for a refund, this was 3 weeks ago; no reply yet. From Sylvia's post, now it makes sense why they have not responded to my request for a refund. Something does not smell right with Katour. Kym Williams with Katour Line Wigs is a SCAM artist and some action needs to take place with her personally. She is responsible for refunding everyone's monies who have not received there product(s).  (May 21, 2011 | post #146)

I agreed with Donna (Anderson, SC)that when Katour Line...Wigs was located in MD there customer service was A+ and the quality of the wigs were the bomb. In 2009 I ordered two (2) custom wigs, however, there was a delay in shipping, however, when I called and spoke to Karen Henderson about the status of my wigs they were shipped the following week after the phone call and I was very pleased with the wigs (Quality A+). However, I placed another order for (3) custom wigs September 2010, I emailed Katour Line at the end of October 2010 and received a call on November 4, 2010, that the wigs where ready and will ship shortly; never received my order. Touch based a second time and actually Karen answered the phone (December 2010 four (4) days before Christmas and informed me that my order shipped, however, I never received it. She told me that she would make sure that I received my wigs, however, it will be in 2011. I sent an email and called to see when I will receive my wigs and the phone constantly rings and rolls to voicemail and emails sent, I have not received a reply; this business practice is unprofessional and if this business keeps up this behavior it will be out of business in no time; especially in this economy. Staying Hopeful in 2011 that I will receive my wigs that I paid for. I will keep you posted on my outcome.  (Jan 21, 2011 | post #111)
