Mitt"Wolf" Romney

Automechanic, I am not positive that you are supporting Romney, but i think everyone should understand who Romney is. If you have ever worked at a place and seen a big corporation take it over then watched as they cut jobs, cut your budget so that you can't even do your job correctly anymore, then watched sales drop, then watched them blame you the workers, then you know exactly who Mitt Romney is. I have see this type of corporate method in person. It's disgusting. If people try to tell you that this is just good ol American Capitalism....they are wrong. American capitalism is based on working hard, offering a good product, and good customer service. Like I said if you have ever worked under these conditions than you understand who Mitt Romney is. He's the CEO who would come around once a year. Everyone would have to have the place tip top. You'd spend a few days preparing for him to show up so that no one got fired. Then he'd walk around like he understood what was going on and then make some ridiculous statements about what needed to be done. Overall he'd just slash your budget taking that money and putting it straight back in his pocket instead of back into the business.  (Jan 13, 2012 | post #34)

To anyone who voted in the Caucus tonight...please read....

Anyone who voted in this caucus let me explain something to you. Our political system has become very complicated. The people inside the parties have developed an understanding of it that the people haven't. They use key words, phrases, media tricks to win your vote. They are betting that you will not do your research. Most of you haven't and that is sad. You simply believe what the news stations tell you. Sad. As for the parties we only have 1 party. The state capitalist party. Republicans and Democrats both work for a system that takes your money in the form of taxes, routes it through the government and then inserts it into the private market. The illusion of a free market is maintained and they keep the public from understanding this principal. People were very upset about the bailouts to wall street but what people don't understand is that this goes on all the time in many different forms. It works like this. Tax revenue is taken and given to the "banks" (for example), the banks use this money to loan out to the people at high interest rates giving them an unfair advantage vs banks that didn't get bailtout money. Completely killing the idea of free markets. Congressmen use this knowledge as a form of insider trading to make the rich. As for this caucus. If you voted for Romney or Santorum...you voted to expand this type of economic system. we are now doomed. If you want to do any research about the matter here are a couple of links. http://www.chomsky .info/interviews/2 0081013.htm http://www.democra cynow.org/2009/4/1 3/noam_chomsky_on_ the_global_economi c This is Noam Chomsky who happens to be one of the most intelligent people in the world when it comes to political, economic, and social systems in our world. It is up to the people to learn what is happening so we can effectively change it. If you believe the government is working in your best interest then just ignore this but if you feel the government is going down the wrong path then do research begin with Noam Chomsky.  (Jan 4, 2012 | post #1)

Mitt Romney's Top contributors

Mitt Romney has deep pockets and so does the people that are supporting his campaign. Here is a list of the top 7 contributors for Mitt Romney. Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse Group, Morgan Stanley, HIG Capital, Barclays, Kirklan & Ellis, Bank of America, Now, here is the question you have to ask yourself? Do you think Mitt Romney will let these influential banks shape his policies in the nation? Do you think they will have him in their pocket? I believe in free thinking and everyone is left to decide for themselves. Along with this I am going to give everyone some information that most people haven't researched indepth. This is how our system actually works. The government for decades has been taking tax dollars and funneling it through various projects. One of the may projects is the military. This money goes into research and development. It has produced some interesting technology. This technology then gets licensed to companies in the private sector which then turns a profit on this technology. A good example of an American company that benefits from this would be Boeing. If we look at this simply then it's easy to see what's happening. The people are taxed, the money is used in government programs, the products of those programs is then carried over into the private sector, this effectively lowers the cost of research and development for those specific companies and then that company makes a higher profit margin because of it. It is a for of state capitalism that has been going on for 50 years. Both parties are at fault. When NAFTA was put into place it games this system the ability to do what i just say but also for those companies to shit the jobs creating this technology over seas. So effectively tax money taken from the people, run through government programs, given to private corporations then funneled OUTSIDE the nation. Another example of this system is the wall street banks. The federal reserve gave them 7 trillion dollars in low interest loans after the collapse which they turned around and loaned to the people at much higher interest rates. That is a form of socialism and state capitalism. So, what this does is that is hurts the free market by giving an unfair advantage to the companies getting these benefits. If a new Bank wanted to compete at that time how could it? It is facing banks that are basically getting free money from the federal reserve? I am sorry this post is so long but it is something that needs to be studied by the people. We need to understand how this all works. Now here is the part that you really have to think about. The representatives who pass the bills involving these types of transactions understand full well where the money is going and which companies will gain the benefit. Which means they stand the invest in these companies and make loads of cash from a form of insider trading. If you made it this far and read my entire post I want to leave you with this. After doing my research and learning a lot about our system Ron Paul is the only one trying to change how things are. He is the only one speaking up to help the American people. Do your own research people. If you don't believe the things I have said then do your own research and prove me wrong but please do not throw your vote away without first educating yourself about the truth of our situation.  (Jan 2, 2012 | post #1)

Ron Paul Salutes Veterans, Says He Plans to Bring Troops ...

Hello everyone, from Tn, I have been researching candidates and learning a lot from this race. Ron Paul is the only chance we have to stop the machine that has been build over decades by both parties. They have caused us to lose our middle class, the rich have been making more and more money from our tax dollars through the process of government subsidies to the rich, even to the rich who send jobs to other countries. It's time to stand up and save our country. If Mitt Romney is elected it will be even more business as usually. He will give more loopholes, more tax breaks, more everything to the rich while we split the bill. STAND UP AMERICA VOTE RON PAUL  (Jan 2, 2012 | post #7)

For anyone who wants to educate themselves on our politic...

In this link Noam Chomsky which knows more about how social political economic systems work than just about anyone explains the real situation in our economic system. http://www.chomsky .info/interviews/2 0081013.htm Anyone who takes time to read this needs to look at our current political candidates and ask yourself two simple questions. 1. Do you think our current system is a good one? 2. If you do not, then which candidates are most likely to continue the practices that got us in this mess? I have done my research and to me it is obvious which candidate is part of this system. Mitt Romney's TOP 7 campaign contributors Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse Group, Morgan Stanley, HIG Capital, Barclays, Kirklan & Ellis, Bank of America, To me it is obvious that he will continue to develop the system that makes the rich richer and the poor more poor. I hope to get a few people that want to have a reasonable conversation. I know TOPIX isn't like this most of the time but I'd like to bring a little more rationality into the forum.  (Jan 2, 2012 | post #1)
