CBC Receives 1.1 Billion a year in Federal Funding

Actually, it's time to let the Communist Broadcasting Corporation sink or swim on it's own. It should be quickly and permanently cut off from federal cash. Anyone want to take bets on how long it will take for the CBC to close it's doors in that case?  (Jul 21, 2015 | post #8)

Huh, so when Sun media folded the idiots claimed it was "survival of the fittest", yet when told the Communist Broadcasting Corporation would be cut back, they start screaming for federal money! The double standard with you people is so thick, you could cut it with a spoon.  (Jul 21, 2015 | post #7)

KAPYONG FIRST NATIONS RESERVE ... What's the Hold-Up ?

The hold up is simple; The citizens of Winnipeg, and Tuxedo to be precise, NEVER want to see a group of staggering, drunk, lying, thieving savages in the middle of the city. Property values would plummet faster than a paralyzed falcon. Anytime a savage or savages, move into the city, the neighborhood quickly becomes a cesspool. It's bad enough that the slime are allowed to stay in fleabag motels downtown to harass and accost decent, hardworking citizens, but to allow them a base of operations? Completely unacceptable. That's why it will never happen. The cons outweigh the pros... wait, there are no pros in this matter...  (Jul 21, 2015 | post #8)

Transforming a notorious Winnipeg neighbourhood into a hu...

Won't happen. Ever. Why? Because the residents of Tuxedo will NEVER allow their property values to plummet. And that's what will happen if the slime moves in.  (Jul 20, 2015 | post #2)

Indians Stab Visitors To Forks, Again...

And turning it back into the cesspool it was before Whites came to these shores. Sorry, WE built this country. And we won't allow it to degenerate down to the level of a reserve. You'll get one or two hits in before we get fed up and feed you your own teeth. Remember Oka? Ask Lasagna how much he shit his pants when we left that little "present " next to his trailer...  (Jul 15, 2015 | post #21)

Manitoba Hydro Debt is $50 Billion by 2020

Hydro Spends 1 Billion Dollars

Hydro Spends 1 Billion Dollars

So, what you're saying, and most Manitobans would agree, is that the savages have found yet another way to siphon money from hard working Manitobans, while avoiding anything remotely resembling honest work. And that is why Hydro is hemorrhaging money right now. Not because of mismanagement or high wages for it's workers (which are the lowest among skilled government workers in Canada) but because of the greed of lazy, useless leeches.  (Jul 14, 2015 | post #15)

Hydro Spends 1 Billion Dollars

Wrong. The power infrastructure in Manitoba is in DIRE need of repair. And to fix the problem, it has to begin at the source. Dorsey station is aging, to the point that there have been several explosions in the past few years that have almost crippled the power supply to Winnipeg and surrounding areas. Its only because of the dedication and skill of Hydro workers, that this didn't happen. Riel station will allow power to be diverted so that much needed repairs and upgrades can happen in a timely and safe manner. Now, if we could only get the chugs to stop screaming for cash about the BP3 line, things would move a lot quicker.  (Jul 14, 2015 | post #14)

Easy, you're either lying outright, or are actually this clueless. Hydro employees have had legal strikes several times in the past decade. Even during a project. Best way for them to make management understand that those that actually do the work, should be fairly compensated. And another legal strike is looming, since their contract was up this spring.  (Jul 14, 2015 | post #11)

Now, you DO realize, I hope, that the ONLY reason Hydro is in debt, is because of the NDP government. Selinger uses Hydro like his own personal piggy bank. If the NDP would keep their grubby, socialist mitts out of Hydro's coffers, they'd have the cash on hand to repair their failing infrastructure. Under Filmon (conservative) Hydro ran a budget surplus every single year. Under the NDP, well, I don't have to explain how a socialist government is the worst thing in a democracy, do I?  (Jul 13, 2015 | post #4)

Trudeau vows to fund Shoal Lake 40 road

I won't worry about it. Voting day will be a Wednesday. That means welfare cheque day. That means you'll all be too drunk to walk out the door, let alone find a polling station. Natives have never been a political factor in any election in Canadian history. Why would you try and convince us that will ever change?  (Jul 8, 2015 | post #8)
