Mrs Daff: I officially make my formal and public apology to you for suspecting this was a hoax. It is not a hoax. I know you and your children are all grieving deeply. I too was widowed with four children to raise alone in 1987, so I know first hand, how deep grief goes and the process it takes to recover. It is excruciatingly painful. No matter what your husband did, there was a time that you loved each other and you shared in bringing children into the world. My heart and sympathy goes out to you all. I HEREBEY ASK EVERYONE else, to please get off Cindy's back and show a little understanding for the process she and her inquisitive daughters are experiencing. Her children and she did not commit any crimes against others. When someone you love suddenly dies, you go back after they are gone looking for anything you can hold onto of them, including looking back on old hurtful stories and pictures about them. Please Cindy, and any other mother of Tim's children, contact the Fraternal Order of Police and Social Security to receive the benefits his passing will provide you with for all their support. My story is posted. This matter is now a closed issue. Any further attempts to harass Daff's family will be reported to the proper Missouri authorities, which WILL protect them from your harassment. Feel free to contact me, if I can be of any further assistance in anyway. The Peoples Reporter, (Tuesday Nov 24 | post #62)

is the peoples reporter a real reporter?
To the fraud fake peoples reporter trying to impersonate the real Peoples Reporter: your pathetic attempts to discredit me are transparent and very obvious. Get a life and an education. For you to keep your childish games up on here after all this time, then start on me again just after the conviction of Alderwoman Ellen Brown's son Jason Osborn, who killed two teenaged boys, tells us all that you have an agenda and are probably related to them both. Intelligent people can see through you and yours. (Jan 28, 2009 | post #17)
Can someone help me find a link or an obituary?
Jason Osborne was convicted on both counts of second degree murder. See story below. http://www.branson dailynews.com/stor y.php?storyID=1022 1 Finally, closure Kathy boyles, of Hollister, holds the last school photo taken of her son, Joshua Sparling. Sparling, along with 14-year-old Dustin Riesman, were killed in a fiery car crash in August 2003. On Wednesday, Jason Osborn, the man with the boys at the time of the crash, was found guilty on two counts of second degree murder. Mindy Honey | Branson Daily News By Mindy Honey Society Editor HOLLISTER — Five-and-a-half years after losing her 14-year-old son and his friend in a fiery crash, Kathy Boyles is feeling some closure. “Justice was finally given,” Boyles said after leaving a courtroom in Hartville Wednesday afternoon. Wright County Judge John Moody found Jason Osborn, 41, guilty on two counts of second-degree murder, three counts of endangering the welfare of a child and one count of enticement of a child. Each murder charge carries a maximum of 30 years in prison. According to Missouri State Highway Patrol reports, Osborn and four teens were in a 1998 Ford Taurus on Blansit Road near Walnut Shade in August 2003. The car was going at a high rate of speed when it hit a tree and burst into flames. Dustin Riesman and Joshua Sparling, both 14, were killed in the crash. Another 14-year-old had been driving. Riesman and Sparling were both on the passenger side, reportedly hanging out the window, when the car crashed. In 1987, Osborn, under the alias Leon S. Dronet, was convicted of attempted sodomy in Oregon. “My only fear was him hurting another child,” said Boyles, mother of Sparling. “He is looking at many years (in prison). I definitely feel closure.” Boyles said she hasn’t missed any of Osborn’s court appearance over the past five-and-a-half years. “There was a time I thought it was going to go on forever,” she said. “He did all sorts of things to prolong it.” At one point, Osborn claimed he was mentally incompetent to stand trial. “We all knew he was completely sane,” Boyles said. “He makes me sick. It has been hard to see him, hard to wait, but worth the wait.” Osborn will be sentenced March 6 in Wright County, where the case was moved on a change of venue. Boyles said she is now faced with writing a letter to be read the day of sentencing. “That is going to be hard to do,” she said. “I’ve actually wrote it, but I’ll probably change it 20 times. I knew if he was found guilty I would get my say — this is my say. It will be very emotional.” Taney County Prosecutor Jeff Merrell said Osborn was acquitted on one of the counts of enticement. The count of enticement Osborn was found guilty of was from an incident that happened earlier that summer, Merrell said. (Jan 26, 2009 | post #4)
