Same Sex Marriage: It's Officially Legal

SCOTUS went beyond its boundaries to make this country-wide. This is a state decision. Almighty God has already spoken on this subject. Man has not the authority to speak above God. Man lusting after his own kind and woman, likewise are going against the laws of God. It is unnatural and an abomination in His eyes; according to His Word. Those who feel this tendency need to ask for forgiveness and walk in His Ways. This is not a birth situation. There are many traumatic situations that could -in psychiatric ordeals- possibly make homosexuality understandable. But it still does not make it right in the sight of God. Even with all this, it does not EVER make one unlovable as a person. And it gives no one the right to feel superior to one who claims homosexuality. They are still lovely people, just behave in unlovely ways.  (Jun 30, 2015 | post #161)

What role do you think humans play in global warming?

PS. There is a natural cooling and warming that has been going on since this old planet began. Ice ages and tropical ages have shaped and molded this land for eons. Man and his activities play no part. I will concede that atomic warfare would make a huge difference.  (Jun 30, 2015 | post #6459)

The Email Address Debacle: Did Hillary Do Something Wrong?

Hillary has done something wrong ever since she has been in the public eye. She has lied, schemed, cheated, used, mistreated, left dead bodies in her wake. This "email" scandal is just another nail in everyone else's coffin. She has destroyed as much as possible. And to say she didn't know is lie. If she is so smart...She just didn't expect to get caught. This woman is evil from the word go. She is Saul Alinski's pupil since her college days. She needs to be behind bars for the rest of her natural life.  (Jun 30, 2015 | post #1917)

Time to go?

The Confederate Flag is one of honor just as the Union Flag was. The Civil War was fought over states' rights, not slavery. The central government got too big for its britches---what is happening now. If one would study well, the northerners had as many slaves as did the southerners. However those with big cotton plantations would have a larger number in one place. But the largest number of them cared and treated them better than their own families in many cases....as it meant the difference of eating or starving in the winter months. The northerners were more cruel if slaves were caught and to be returned. And there were as many black slave owners as white. And there were as many white on white slave owners. The Irish were not all indentured servants....they were bought and purchased slaves. Robert E. Lee was asked by Lincoln to head up the Union Army. But Lee chose the South and headed up the Confederacy. Granted there were scoundrels on both sides. That is in all organizations as seen even today--especially today. But to let hysteria, mob rule, and stupidity dictate rewriting history is forever ridiculous. Leave Confederate flags, statues, symbols, historical notes intact. Removing them is in fact, removing part of ourselves. Those who do not learn history are doomed to repeat it.  (Jun 30, 2015 | post #531)

Why does God not answer me???

Louis cypher 666, you surely must be an unhappy feller. One day, you will bow your knee and profess with your tongue that Jesus Christ is Lord. and then you will go to hell. Jesus does not any one to go to hell. He died on the cross for you and for me. You have the choice. It would please Him if you would change your heart and come to Him before you are too hardened. He already blesses me and mine. And even with all our trials and tribulations, we are happy.  (Jun 30, 2015 | post #32)

class reunion how to

even after all the years since graduation, the "clique" is still in effect for wanting to barr a classmate from the reunion? how long does it take to become an adult? If that person graduated with you, that person has as much right to attend the reunion as the next. That is poor, indeed.  (Jun 30, 2015 | post #4)

Pain Management Doctor

Sweepyface-- I have DDD also. from 1989 through 2004, had C-3,4,5,6,7 removed, fused, plated. One of the stuck to the spinal cord and exposed it. Was in the hospital a month hoping it would heal itself. It didn't, so they had to go back in- take out the hardware, chisel out the fusion, put on a covering over the cord and redo the fusion and hardware. Had a stroke on the table. Since then, have T-7,8,9 and all lumbars and S-1 to rupture and now C-2 is bulging. So , yes, I do know pain, every day. Living with this pain and the limitations from the spinal cord damage and stroke damage, and by the way diabetes neuropathy on top of everything and other organ problems that cause pain, I know pain. If nothing else, it lets me know I am still alive. The folks at Mays & Schnapp have created a care plan just for me that keeps me functional. It does not stop the pain. My pain level stays from about 4-7 every day on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the worse. But i can live with what I have. And I try to stay busy to keep my mind involved with other people's needs to stay away from my own. And I stay blessed and thankful for what I do have. Pain is so unique for each and every person. Each person has his own tolerance level as well. Some areas of the body are worse for some people than others. And trying to accurately describe pain is really difficult. Pain can be different at different times of day, with different weather conditions, and with different sleep amounts. I hope you can find someone to help you get some positive relief from some of your pain....at least enough to live a productive life that your daily outlook is positive. God bless you in your search. And He will provide His grace which truly is sufficient.  (Jun 23, 2015 | post #13)

Why does God not answer me???

God isn't a Dear Abby column. God isn't a "I promise I'll do ..... if you will only do ....". God doesn't give you everything you ask for as He sees the big picture and it might not be good for you in the future. His Book isn't there to open it at random and pick and choose. Have you read it all the way through? Have you asked forgiveness for your sins? Have you asked Jesus to be your Lord and Savior? Are you trying to live for Him? Do all these things everyday. And even if He didn't promise a life of luxury, He did promise He would be with you always. And He gave you a brain to use to try to help yourself, be creative... God will bless you if live for him.  (Jun 23, 2015 | post #30)

Craig Fitzhugh Calls For Removal Of Nathan B. Forrest Statue

This is quite a turn for Craig, given his Southern raising. How careless of him to support this action and yes to even be the one to call for it. Reminds me of Steve Cohen garnering the black vote and acting like the donkey's rear end. Shame on you Craig. Get to know your history.  (Jun 23, 2015 | post #3)

Pain Management Doctor

I have been going to Mays and Schnapp Pain Center in Memphis on Humphreys for almost 10 years now. Recommend them highly. Dr. Mays is Haywood Mays' brother, and his background is anesthesia. Dr. Schnapp's background is neurology. I have been seeing Dr. Schnapp. Each physician will make a care plan just for each patient. And if the situation is one that cannot be managed, the patient will not be dangled along. Most know that with my degenerative discs, stroke, operations, etc, chronic pain is part of my life. Dr. Schnapp has helped me live a productive life with the ability to manage the pain I have. No magic bullet, not pain free. But it is nice to have a physician with a sense of humor that listens and works hard to try to make things better. Being a nurse also makes me grateful that while I was working, I did not deny my patients request for pain relief. Pain is so debilitating; and it is so personal and difficult to describe.  (May 23, 2015 | post #7)

The Email Address Debacle: Did Hillary Do Something Wrong?

Do the majority of birds fly? This woman is a liar, cheat, and manipulator. She has been all her life. She loves the Saul Alinski methods, even got to meet with him during college. Do you know who he revered and emulated? LUCIFER. She is a student of the devil. Do your own research.  (Mar 28, 2015 | post #261)

Rate your area walmart

It seems store #97, Ripley TN is training ground for managers. Just as soon as a really good one gets in, that one is gone, and we have to "break in" a new one. Not too long ago, saw an assistant mgr and introduced myself asking if she was new, Several floor workers were around her. No, she replied...she had been here a long time. Well, I am in this store almost every day at different times a day and never have seen you, you must be one who works in the back all the time. There was an uncomfortable pregnant pause.....the floor workers were doing their best not to snicker. No she replied, I work the floor all the time. Odd, I replied, Most customers think I am an assistant manager as I am asked to direct them to items, I pick things up off the floor and return them to their proper place, help other customers all over this store...I never have seen you before. So nice to finally meet you. There are some wonderful workers at this store. There are some who think they are doing you a favor just to glance in your direction. There are times of day when the number of checkers need to be greatly increased because standing in line for 30 or more minutes is not a good thing. There needs to be benches throughout the store for customers to have to rest. The ones who greet should have stools on which to sit as should the checkers. Inventory control is a joke. The ones who decide upon discontinuing products are not considering the popularity of those products in certain stores. Was so happy to see the return of materials and notions. But waiting for service for same is terrible. And availability of basic items is poor. All that being said, it is nice to have site to store when Ripley's store fails in so many areas.  (Mar 28, 2015 | post #24)
