Evolution Debate

It's the Darwin crowd that lacks the facts in evolution d...

Ok then we're back to square one, Who's brain is more complex a reptiles or a mammalsIt's irrelevant what it looks like before it's metamorphosis. It doesn't stay a tadpole all it's lifeWhy can't it have fish stuff as a tadpole? I guarantee you after it grows it will not have all that fish stuff and it will look like any other frogMore than likely WYSIWYG with this creature. Does it look like a reptile, bird or a duck to you? Or does it look like a platypus?  (Jun 4, 2012 | post #91184)

How can that be? Dude, he says it right there in his paper. "These conclusions, in combination with those of recent studies on long-term patterns of epipodial (Hopson 1995) and cranial (Sidor 2001) evolution, suggest that morphological trends within synapsids should be reinvestigated within a quantitative and phylogenetic frameworkThat's not surprising considering all 3 are phenotypically analogous--analogo us things share analogous DNA. However, it depends on how the analysis is conducted which produces different results. One analysis shows Chimps and Humans being closer than Gorillas, while another analysis shows Humans and Gorillas closer than Chimps, and another shows Chimps and Gorillas closer than Humans. The results are different depending on how the researchers conduct the genetic analysis.  (Jun 4, 2012 | post #91183)

IF there wasn't a problem, why does he feel there needs to be a re-investigation with a more quantitative frameworkFurther data analysis? Are you claiming your link is a continuation of the original link I gave you? http://www.washing ton.edu/burkemuseu m/collections/pale ontology/sidor/Sid or2003b.pdf  (Jun 4, 2012 | post #91181)

It was you who stated that you were not attacking theists beliefs so therefore you're attacking their 'non-beliefs'. Your remarks convey an unappealing appearance of ignorance. Such ignorance can be and ought to be corrected.  (Jun 4, 2012 | post #91179)

That's why the concept that you're thinking regarding Hell isn't supported in scriptureWhats the rewardI'm not touching this one, what else do you have?  (Jun 3, 2012 | post #91107)

Should evolution be taught in high school?

That doesn't surprise me at all coming from a person raised in a state that ranks 47th in education spending. It's a wonder why Californian's rank near the bottom of the list in education.  (Jun 3, 2012 | post #93765)

I didn't ask if you were arguing against my beliefs. I asked if you were arguing against my non-beliefs. Anyway I see you're not going to actually answer the question because you know when you do you'll find yourself being intellectually dishonest, but whatever.  (Jun 3, 2012 | post #93761)

All of this and you completely dodged the question. Have you ever found yourself arguing against a theist non-beliefs in a God?  (Jun 3, 2012 | post #93753)

What about the existence of unconditional love? Does that also contradict God's omnipotence, omnipresence or omniscienceThe bible doesn't support a Global floodThe Bible doesn't support people going to a place of torment (i.e., Hell) after death either. As I stated previously, your understanding of biblical text is misconstrued.  (Jun 3, 2012 | post #91096)

You didn't explain the problem associated with the negative. Try again.  (Jun 3, 2012 | post #93750)

When you act on their actions you are in fact acting on their beliefs. The concept of actions is only manifested because of beliefs. How many theists have you argued against where you found yourself arguing against their non-beliefs in God?  (Jun 3, 2012 | post #93749)

God gives life and God has every right to take life. I'm not sure where you've gotten the notion that God is a paradox but your understanding is inaccurate and should be correctedMost stray because of a lack of understanding which you just proved when you mentioned that paradox thing up there.  (Jun 3, 2012 | post #91093)

Then when you act to undermine theistic arguments on the boards are your actions a reflection of your non-beliefs or lack thereof?  (Jun 3, 2012 | post #93744)

And once again your words are inconsistent with your action Kitten. Because the fact of the matter is this; you argue against something you claim to not know or understandOne can argue for something that they posses a strong conviction in, meaning, they know 'something' about itThat's not double-talk but I wouldn't doubt that you're implying that because you don't have anything to add that would refute the statement.  (Jun 3, 2012 | post #91088)
