Lee, Hamilton Give Rangers Lead Over Yankees

Actually, I am a life long Twins fan. Why would anyone with any self respect like the Mets or the Yankess. So I hate to say it, but glad to see your Yankees lost like the true losers they are. NY sucks! Go Rangers! Show NY what a team that doesn't have endless money and steroids can do! Loser.  (Oct 31, 2010 | post #18)

It was great seeing them beaten down in their own house. Let's keep the Rangers going and see them forward to the World Series.  (Oct 19, 2010 | post #5)

Ha ha ha! How do you debate someone that isn't capable of actually debating? "as your leaders continue to add nothing".. Go check out the political make up of not only of the Minnesota state Senate and Legislature, yet of most of the country at this point in time. Democrats are in power and have been in power for the last couple of years nationally and within in our state for a long time. Minnesota has historically been democrat, so if things in our state aren’t working out the way you like them, then look how has truly been in power. In addition, you can bitch and moan all you want about Pawlenty being in power, yet somehow he has stayed in as long as he has and the registered Democrats in this state far outnumber registered Republicans.  (Oct 19, 2010 | post #214)

Where are your answers or points? You have not provided one bit of it yourself, all you do is try to insult someone vs. actually saying something that can be considered a point.  (Oct 19, 2010 | post #212)

I am taking a wild guess that I am much more educated then you are. At least I can make a living and support myself and do not have to advocate that the government takes care of my every need. Maybe you should try an education, then you wouldn’t need a Big Brother government that your whining for.  (Oct 19, 2010 | post #211)

Even thought I am a hardcore Twins fan, all I can say is, Let's Go Rangers. Show the Yankees what a team that has talent not based solely on unlimitied money and steroids can do! GO RANGERS!  (Oct 18, 2010 | post #1)

Tresa06, don't get too bent out of shape over what orreljw has to say. If you look at most of his postings, instead of actually having something constructive to say, he just trys to insult people instead of coming up with some logical points of proof.  (Oct 18, 2010 | post #196)

Actually, you are the one who sounds ridiculous. You sit here are try to make me sound like I don’t give a damn about anyone or helping others. Your idea is to take, take, and take from those we are better off. Unfortunately some people are smarter then you, and will come up with something or some idea that will make them tons of money. Just because they thought of this and you didn't, you expect government to take from them and give to you. That’s like asking your big brother to go next door and beat up the neighbor because you really like his shoes and want them. In our country, with our constitution, everyone had the opportunity to be successful, but you have to work for it. It’s doesn’t say anywhere if your American dream doesn’t come true that the government will provide you with one. As for saying you expect the rich to never give back and help others out, I just found an interesting story in the Christian Science Monitor called, Billionaires pledge $125 billion to Bill Gates charity drive, http://www.csmonit or.com/Business/20 10/0804/Billionair es-pledge-125-bill ion-to-Bill-Gates- charity-drive?sms_ ss=twitter&at_ xt=4ca9b784b094f36 6,0 now this article basically tells about how Bill Gates and Warren Buffett have secured $125 billion from 40 families and individuals on the Forbes 400 list of the wealthiest Americans for the Giving Pledge campaign. That amount from those people is half of those total families combined wealth. As for saying rich people just horde all their money, your right, many of them do. What do you expect business people to do, just piss all their money away? Many of these people you complain about have companies that can employ thousands to hundreds of thousands of employees. Let’s say these greedy rich bastards did what you wanted and gave all their money away to charity or the average person walking down the street and only kept enough for them and their families to live off of. If they did that and this recession hit, or let’s say we go into another 20’s era depression, do you know how many more people would have been laid off with that kind of idiocy? They wouldn’t have had any back up funds and would have been forced to lay off way more people and the number of unemployed would have been astronomical. As for throwing democrats in there for doing the right thing when it comes to taxing, a month or so ago, I believe I saw a story about how Sen. John Kerry is now docking his family's brand new $7 million yacht in neighboring Rhode Island, allowing him to avoid paying roughly $500,000 in taxes to his home state of Massachusetts. How about Congressman (D-NY) Charles Rangle or Treasury Secretary Timothy F. Geithner; these individuals love to play the who should pay more blame game, yet they can’t even seem to pay their own fair share of taxes.  (Oct 18, 2010 | post #194)

Actually, I don;t watch must TV to be honest with you. Much of what I see I re4ad on the net, ocasionally I will watch TV (CNN & FOX), or I will read news papers. I say this because I have done the research. Hence why for one of my classes last semester I did a paper on the state of business within America. I know what I am saying from checking multiple sources and actually haveing to collect facts. So, if your going to cont me as a lemming, I would truly hate to see what type of person you would like to see voting.  (Oct 18, 2010 | post #193)

Gay Marriage - Austin, MN

Have you taken a look at most of the people getting married now days? Most of them don’t have squeaky clean backgrounds. It's not really about love any more; it's kind of a popular thing to do. Look at the level of divorce out there because of the bad choices. As for deviant behavior, ask some of the hundreds of molested altar boys out there about what this should include. The church has a lot of growing to do before it should tell others what’s right or wrong.  (Oct 16, 2010 | post #6)
