is obama too far to the left of the american people to ef...

I guess they're all pinko commies!!! But all kidding aside, Obama is pretty far to the left and I think that may hurt him come November. I thought we were seeing a move to the center with the extension of the Bush tax cuts but that was a blip, not a trend. Look for an ever-increasing number of drone strikes leading up to the election in an effort to take attention away from the economy.  (Jun 4, 2012 | post #7)

Study Finds Fox News Viewers Least Informed Of All Viewers

Fox News has brilliantly, brilliantly identified who their viewer is and tailored the channel to meet that person's needs. Its utter success almost guarantees that their audience is less likely to get information from other sources. Whenever one limits his/her options it follows that overall knowledge indeed suffers. It's either a compliment for Fox or an indictment against their viewers. Take your pick.  (May 23, 2012 | post #2)

Always a Traitor

What she did was unforgivable, earning her the well-deserved nickname she will never jettison. What is truly shocking is that she honestly thought she was "helping. " I've never quite wrapped my head around that one.  (May 18, 2012 | post #10)

judges declare national day of prayer unconstitutional

I have no problem with a National Day of Prayer. Maybe it could do some good. There are a lot of people in need right now - in need of work, in need of direction, in need of sobriety, but most importantly, in need of hope. Faith can provide hope and there's nothing wrong with that!!!  (May 18, 2012 | post #27)

Why Do Conservatives Hate Freedom?

That was kind of the point I was trying to make, Don. I often use sarcasm to augment my arguments.  (May 18, 2012 | post #13)

Why Do Conservatives Hate Freedom?

I don't think Conservatives hate Freedom any more than Liberals hate the Government. All Americans basically want the same things. We are getting lost in minutia.  (May 17, 2012 | post #9)

TVOSR challenges all topix posters!

There are a great many sins enumerated in the Bible. To focus so narrowly on one (to the exclusion of all others) seems curious to me.  (May 15, 2012 | post #53)

Don't Bash Obama - Judge His Accomplishments

Ha ha. Believe it or not, I drive on the right hand side of the road. (Though when in the UK I've been known to drive on the left.)  (May 15, 2012 | post #134)

Survivor: One World.

After Colton left the game, Kim dominated and deserved the win. The men were so ridiculously stupid this season. Unbelievable.  (May 14, 2012 | post #34)

Don't Bash Obama - Judge His Accomplishments

Like the ACLU or The Birthers. Agenda-driven "facts" are usually questionable. At best.  (May 11, 2012 | post #111)
