Jeremy Fowler: 3 things to watch in Vikings' draft

so many needs, so little picks. They will probably trade the #12 pick away, but they can't lose if they exercise the long as they don't get hung up on drafting a QB, because virtually any QB at #12 will be a reach.  (Apr 27, 2011 | post #8)

Shooter Now: Vikings more likely to get McNabb than draft...

This at least makes sense. It would be a "plan" to rebuild the QB spot. I still have many, many doubts that Webb can be an NFL caliber QB, but it gives the team time to either develop him or Bonar, or, draft someone else next year...which is what I think they will really do.  (Apr 19, 2011 | post #38)

Shooter Now: Donovan McNabb to Minnesota Vikings? It make...

It only makes sense if the Vikings like Bonar or Webb. Something that they really have not committed to. Frazier did not even mention Webb's name till after he had been coach for 3 weeks. That is not a sign of strong confidence. This article fictitiously claims the coaches are high on Webb. Don't believe it for a second, he is a last resort that will have to show tremendous improvement in TC to stay a QB.  (Apr 6, 2011 | post #36)

Vikings' Joe Webb wants opportunity to compete for starti...

He will get a chance to play QB. His best shot is WR though. He will be gone from the team by 2012.  (Feb 13, 2011 | post #110)

Herschel Walker pushes himself at 48

He wants to make a comeback at age 48? At RB? I see. This guy did wear a helmet when he played didn't he?  (Jan 29, 2011 | post #5)

Cayetano puts trust in Matayoshi - Hawaii News

Matayoshi is a manager and administrator, not an educator. In short, she is well qualified for the job. I do not want to see just a teacher in that spot, this job requires much, much more than that. A short, and slight woman, Matayoshi is easy to dismiss at first sight, and that would be a mistake...always has been. Of course, Slom is right on this one, let her do some time as interim before offering her a permanent position. There is no rush. Interesting that several of her classmates are beginning to rise to prominent government positions.  (Jan 6, 2010 | post #15)

Whole Foods seeks another site after its Ward plan fails ...

While there is definitely a segment in Kailua that has the money to spend on a high-scale grocery store, I don't think there is enough to make a go of it. Kailua is a mistake for WF, and the competition is already established.  (Dec 3, 2009 | post #25)

The pool has to go, the arches will remain as the monument to WWI veterans. Will the arches erode away eventually? Tell me what won't.  (Dec 2, 2009 | post #8)

Mayor backs plan to raze Natatorium - Hawaii News

Good decision. There is NO private money to rebuild. There hasn't been any since 1979.  (Nov 29, 2009 | post #21)

Final 'Lost' season to begin Feb. 2 - Hawaii News

It's really been quite a farce where fans don't realize the chemically-induced comedic virtues of the show...and neither do the writers...and producers...and directors...and some of the actors...  (Nov 20, 2009 | post #13)

Well, if that IS the case, I would expect Lost to make another change. They got crushed by Idol the past 2 years. They would not be that stupid.  (Nov 20, 2009 | post #11)
