Murder in Terre Haute goes unreported

So something went unreported yet there was a report made?  (Sep 18, 2014 | post #20)

cPolice should not have surplus militaryvehicles and weap...

I think that looking cool or militarising police forces are not the real reasons for seeing MRAPs in the hands of local agencies. Consider...Who builds MRAPs? What is the market for such vehicles (and parts to repair them) now that the troops are coming home from the Middle East? Take off the tin foil hat and follow the money.  (Aug 18, 2014 | post #8)

Anonymous reveals Ferguson police officer's name

Yet Anonymous did the same thing by accusing an innocent man and posting his name and picture online. Why do they want to be judge, jury and executioner?  (Aug 15, 2014 | post #17)

Anonymous reveals Ferguson police officer's name

Looks like Anonmymous got it wrong again. Way to drag an innocent person through the mud. You need to stay in your mother's basement and leave important things to the grown ups.  (Aug 15, 2014 | post #9)

ammunition reloading

As was said above, this is not correct information. If you buy from a licensed dealer you will have to fill out a form and stand by while they submit your information. This is true even if you are buying a rifle or a shotgun.  (Aug 12, 2014 | post #19)

ammunition reloading

If you are buying from a dealer (FFL) you will need to fill out a form 4473 and have it processed, even for a rifle or a shotgun.  (Aug 11, 2014 | post #13)

Bullies

The words "Bully" and "Bullying " no longer have any meaning. Both have been thrown around so much that in our politically correct society a "bully" can just be a person who says something that hurts your feelings. Grow up. The world isn't a nice place and it is full of not very nice people. Let kids develop the skills that they need to cope with unpleasantness rather than trying to label anything and everything that you don't agree with a "bully".  (Aug 6, 2014 | post #10)

New Dollar General On Clinton Road

If the homeowner wants to sell and dollar general wants to buy then what should allow anyone else to say what a person can do on their own land?  (Aug 6, 2014 | post #8)

what happened today at the hearing

It looks like the sentence for a class 5 Felony is similar to what it was under the old D felony. OWI causing death used to be a C with a 2 to 8 year range. His presumptive sentence is now 18 months.  (Aug 1, 2014 | post #64)

what happened today at the hearing

Pretty much anybody can bond out before trial, it is not a special privilege.  (Aug 1, 2014 | post #61)

what happened today at the hearing

Bond is to ensure that a person will show up for their trial. The judge looks at things like a person's ties to the community and whether or not they are a flight risk. He has pleaded not guilty so punishment cannot yet be a consideration. As with anyone else he is treated as innocent until proven guilty. No one is saying that this was a premeditated murder. At worst it was drunken driving. He will likely be convicted and punished but it won't be the same punishment that an intentional killing would receive.  (Jul 31, 2014 | post #43)

One judge shouldnt have the right

You didn't disagree with anything I said because I hadn't posted in this thread yet when you posted. You posted a bunch of nonsense and this post does nothing to rehabilitate your first post. Indiana is not a sovereign nation. Its constitution cannot trump the nations' constitution. The judicial branch interprets the law, not the executive or legislative branch. Not having a basic understanding of civics is not the same as having different ideas. Nothing in either post would lead anyone to believe that you were espousing a new political ideology, only that you lack a basic understanding of the way the system of checks and balances works.  (Jul 1, 2014 | post #18)
