Hottest guys in Camp Creek?

I would count writing bad checks as stealing....and yes he and his mother still continue to write them on a daily basis. Ask any local business who they have came in contact with and they'll tell you they've been screwed over by them...It's bad when you come to the same business three times and use a different last name each time...  (Oct 11, 2010 | post #67)

Karen Green, aka Karen Ricker, aka Karen Riddle nor her son Tyler who goes by the same last names. They live out on Walters Rd. around the Greystone area. Wrote bad checks all over town for years.  (Oct 8, 2010 | post #3)

any contractors/builders to stay clear of?

Actually Brooks and Malone does a lot of other things than plumbing...Includi ng tile work, drywall, concrete and all sorts of things. Most of this stuff they do as a turn key deal sorta thing when they fix or replace plumbing. They recently did some landscaping jobs with the guy that used to own Malone's Landscaping...ever yone remembers that he had a drug and gambling problem...and eventually screwed everyone over, went bankrupt, lost his business and everything he had...B&M do half way decent work overall, but I would give the "little guys" a chance before I gave B&M the job. B&M are way too expensive and charge a whole lot more than most of the smaller plumbing outfits. Always remember to get several bids on a job before hiring someone for a job. On the same note keep in mind that yes a cheap charge most of the time equals cheap work.  (Oct 7, 2010 | post #83)

any contractors/builders to stay clear of?

Let's just say I'm in a position where I know these people and the work they do...Also keep in mind that a "good contractor" does not do only good work he also runs a good business. Several of these people have ran up debts and charge accounts and screwed local businesses over. Several are crooks. Several do shotty work. Let's just leave it at that....Like I said I'm in a position where I see the good and bad of all kinds of folks. No I'm not related to the two people I recommended. I highly doubt the two guys even know each other considering one lives in Limestone and the other in South Greene. Must I remind you that this thread was started by someone who wanted to know who to stay away from, not who to recommend that does good work...which is why I put up the list of bad guys. However I have said good things about several other builders, just read the rest of my posts. On Larry Rowe aka Creative Concrete.... Ask the new Dunkin Doughnuts how their concrete turned out...better than that, go there and see the parking lot for yourself. Ask some of the local businesses that deal with contractors if he has good credit with them and if they would recommend him for anything. Don't take it from me, take it from them. I'm glad you've had good experiences with him, your lucky.  (Sep 2, 2010 | post #42)

Iron Riders Bike Club

Actually they still run a wrecker service, "Demon's Towing" its on the by-pass, Tony doesn't own it (He previously owned "Mooreman's Towing") but it is his family. Most of the Mooremans' are or were firefighters in MD, some are, or used to be members of the Town of Mosheim Fire Department. I have heard their names brought up several times for suspicious fires throughout the western side of the county. There was an instance earlier this year where one of the Mooremans had a disagreement over a fence built on a shared property line, after a verbal argument the Mooreman guy started shooting at the guy's house from his house. There were bullet holes through the children's bedroom walls! This scared the family into leaving and staying somewhere else for a couple of nights. Later that week the house caught on fire....You people be the judge  (Aug 29, 2010 | post #25)

There are plenty of good builders in town, but remember this thread was started by someone wanting to look out for the bad guys.  (Jul 13, 2010 | post #27)

Yes, John Walker is a very respected builder in Greeneville. He is currently building a house for Dr. Woolsey. He built the new Blackburn, Childers & Steagall office on the Tusculum Blvd. There are two Mark Collins' in Greeneville, one owns MAC Construction, the other owns M.C. Septic.  (Jul 12, 2010 | post #22)

Ecoquest International and Mr. Jackson

Jr was recently "let go" from Bristol. It was a either you leave or we will make you leave situation. He had "got in trouble too many times"...more than likely it was over drugs.  (Jul 8, 2010 | post #29)
