Gallup Poll-Congress Approval rate lowest in history <8%

That's the exactly the thought that came to my mind - except I added "that is". So? What are we going to do about it??! I have some good ideas - too bad none of them are legal. But then "not being legal" hasn't bothered congress for years! Makes me wanna' go "hmmm"  (Dec 16, 2010 | post #2)

Spotlight on the marijuana industry: Local filmmaker work...

John Thomas, Your calm clear-headed intelligent thinking is as beautiful as any Autumn leaf. It's a pleasure reading your posts. Thank you for the link. http://www.druglib rary.org Lots of interesting information for the ignorant who might have the desire to educate themselves before they spew their nonsense here. Again, many thanks. Good stuff!  (Nov 10, 2010 | post #92)

And "JOAN", you really should take your own advice and see a "shrink" . You are in serious need of an "ATTITUDE " adjustment! It'll make you feel much better without all that anger and hate spewing from your orifices.  (Nov 9, 2010 | post #16)

Spotlight on the marijuana industry: Local filmmaker work...

Ahh the good old days in the 70's when I lived in L.A., working with horses on the backside of Hollywood Park and Santa Anita racetracks. I remember it fondly. "Columbian Gold", the best I've ever smoked (and I've been smoking for 40 years) was available for what we called a "dime" an ounce.($10). And it was PRIMO!! So, yes, in the 1970's you could buy an oz. of the best "medicine " ever for ten dollars. And that's the truth! The stuff in Humboldt is garbage in comparison. Put that in your pipe and smoke it!  (Nov 9, 2010 | post #14)

When the bridge fell: Father looks back on 30th anniversa...

We'll all be looking forward to the anniversary of our last major quake that was just a year ago, January 9th. What fun that ride was, eh? Trauma embeds itself deep in the mind. That's why we remember like it was yesterday. Someone should invent a "day after" pill that would make us "forget" . I live in a duplex and when the guy next door slams his door shut, the whole building shakes, the windows rattle and I break out in cold sweat thinking to myself, "is it another quake", "how bad is this one going to be?" Then I realize it's just my thoughtless neighbor slamming his door again. I hope he moves soon. I've had enough of him! Or he can stay and if the opportunity presents itself, I'll move - out of California!  (Nov 8, 2010 | post #12)

STOP RAPE - LEGALIZE SEX! Every town should have a nice clean house where lovely ladies and gents will give you a "happy hour" for the price of dinner and a movie. Smoke a doobie and make love. What a wonderful world this could be.  (Nov 1, 2010 | post #65)

Media Without Margins: Deja vu Politics

Hey Francis in Winnetka, crawl back in your cave and don't come out 'til you've done some homework. They're both evil, but Harry is a lot less evil than the Tea (cool-aid) party candidates. If there were a "none of the above" choice, that would be my vote! In the mean time, it's Harry Reid, the lessor of two evils. The good news is he's so old, that with a little luck, one day soon he'll just drop dead. That would be a good thing, eh?  (Oct 30, 2010 | post #2)

Task force supports North Coast's united MLPA proposal

I sure wouldn't give this bunch of clowns a "Blue Ribbon" for anything. It's like the blind leading the blind - they're never going to get anywhere - just in each other's way. What a joke.  (Oct 26, 2010 | post #3)
