Opinion: Navarette: Now's a good a time as any to legalize ille...
Really? What's the right industry? Everything illegals haven't driven down the wage in? (Tuesday Dec 22 | post #66)

Look up any school in Texas on the web and you will see the test scores. Nothing made up about it. Kids who don't speak English have the worst scores. It's common sense. In fact the state is closing several schools here because the kids aren't learning. Smart immigrants are taking free English classes. (Tuesday Dec 22 | post #65)
Groups step forward to delay deportations of illegal students
Don't blame the U.S. Blame your law breaking parents. Sorry, but you need to get in line like everyone else. I'm sure that you have benefited plenty from tax payers as you were growing up. Now you want us to pay your college tuition too so you can become a lawyer. Probably an immigration lawyer, eh? I'm sure you speak Spanish, so go home to Mexico and go to school there. I'm sure they need dirtbag lawyers in Mexico too. (Tuesday Dec 22 | post #9)
New Immigration Bill Is Introduced in House
We all know by not that immigration reform to these folks means open borders and amnesty. Here's my idea of immigration reform: Enforcement of current immigration law. U.S. military and equipment patrol our borders. Vigorous enforcement of workplace labor laws. Repeal of the 14th amendment. No more anchor babies. No Amnesty!!!! Do away with family and chain migration policies. (Tuesday Dec 22 | post #3)
Gutierrez bill would give millions citizenship
Better start citing some sources here. Illegals cost me $1000 a year just in property taxes. That doesn't include what they get from my federal, state and city taxes. Slightly negative my ass. Our state comptroller's audit states that illegals are a drain on local economies in Texas. (Tuesday Dec 22 | post #57)
Gutierrez bill would give millions citizenship
Sorry, what you say is not scientifically valid. Using your twisted logic, you could claim Asia, and Africa as well. Read your science and history books. Natives from Mexico are not indigenous to the U.S. portion of North America. (Monday Dec 21 | post #41)
Gutierrez bill would give millions citizenship
Maybe one of you illegals on this board can explain to me in a coherent manner just why you think you are entitled to amnesty in this country. That's why so many people object to it. It just doesn't make sense. (Monday Dec 21 | post #37)
Undocumented immigrants pose threat on roads
What a waste of time and taxpayer dollars. If this goes through it will be like Texas was before real ID. Every illegal will have 5 driver's licences with a different name on each and guess what. They still couldn't drive safely. (Monday Dec 21 | post #31)

That's a load of crap. I talk to people everyday that used to make a decent living in the construction trades that now can't find work because illegals work for non-living wages. Just yesterday I talked to a chef that can't find work because he doesn't speak Spanish and thus can't communicate with the other kitchen staff. Teens and students can't find work because their jobs have been taken by illegals. Americans will do these jobs if paid a decent wage. As usual Naverette is full of hot air. White Americans' majority to end by mid-century
I would never knowingly buy a house that was constructed with illegal labor. All the contracting work that I've had done by illegals has been shoddy and had to be redone. I'll gladly pay more to have a professional experienced carpenter do the work for me. It will be much cheaper in the long run. Every illegal you ask will tell you that they know how to do construction but most of them are lying. (Saturday Dec 19 | post #650)
Reaction to immigration reform proposal ranges from - thrilled'...
This issue has become very emotional to people on both sides of the fence with no one really applying any logic to the issue. No country can allow an unlimited number of impoverished people to immigrate in. The bottom line is that we just can't financially afford it. We are already seeing the effect in some areas. California as an example. The U.S. needs controlled immigration but we need people who are educated and will contribute and pay taxes not be a financial drain. (Saturday Dec 19 | post #8)
Immigrant advocates plan walk from Miami to Washington
What a bunch of twisted logic. Uninvited guests come to our country, drain us of our tax dollars and then have the nerve to demand amnesty. Everyone out there that thinks that this is wrong needs to contact their elected officials and make themselves heard. No other country in the world would tolerate this type of behavior from illegals. Wash. among 4 states allowing illegal immigrant licenses
So, all a terrorist would have to do is get themselves to New Mexico via Mexico. Get a drivers license and then they can board any commercial airline flight using the New Mexico drivers license as an ID? Millions of people are put at risk because the government is more interested in bowing to special interest groups. (Saturday Dec 19 | post #2)
White Americans' majority to end by mid-century
Blacks have the most to lose from illegal immigration. Mexicans compete with them for the freebies. Whites will still control all the money because that's what they do. Mexicans will continue to come here until large areas of the U.S. resemble the third world hell hole they came from. More states will become bankrupt like California due to welfare programs and high taxes. Whites will flee to states with strong anti-illegal immigration laws. Eventually, the U.S. government will collapse under it's own bureaucratic weight like what happened in Russia. Smaller independent countries will emerge and become part of a North American Union like in Europe. Sadly, the U.S. as we know will cease to exist by 2075. (Saturday Dec 19 | post #602)
