Danbury stuck with Dunkin' Donuts

My family lives right next door to where the dunkin donuts is going up. It was weird about a week and a half ago when I went there and saw that all of the trees were knocked down. Its true, that parking lot was a truck lot. I don't really see a big change in traffic. You can never get out of that road anyway, hopefully they'll put a traffic light up so it makes the intersection safer. Oh well, this is what it all comes down to, every piece of open land will either get turned into a business or a residential complex..oh well.  (Jan 28, 2008 | post #122)

Mother: Boy who lit blaze that killed FDNY firefighter is...

Very true, you don't know what your own will do. But its called common sense. He's 6..he knew what he did was wrong..he tried hiding a piece of paper that was on fire...if he was trying to hide it..he knew it was wrong..Therefore I stand by what I said that he's old enough to know better.  (Jan 7, 2008 | post #15)

Mother: Boy who lit blaze that killed FDNY firefighter is...

To be 100% honest..my son is 17 months old and yes I keep the bathroom door open when I am home alone with him. Why? So that I can try to prevent accidents happening. Im not blaming the parent 100% but I am also saying that teaching children at a young age should prevent things like this from happening. This child is 6, he should know better than to be playing with things like the stove. Im sorry but im just a firm believer in raising children at a young age what is right from wrong.  (Jan 7, 2008 | post #14)

Where was this child's mother when this all happened? She did not see him run through the apartment with the lit paper in his hands?? Doesn't a 6 year old know that a stove is hot. My son is 17 months old and wont even go near radiators in our house because he knows its hot. I feel so sorry for the firefighters family. But I do think this story is a little strange.  (Jan 7, 2008 | post #1)

Patients upset over doctors' departure

Dr. Cretella is one of the nicest doctors I have ever met. It is a shame that New Milford Hospital lost him.  (Jan 6, 2008 | post #2)

Hospitalized Spears loses custody of children; visitation...

Is this seriously being talked about in the newstimes right now?? Who the hell cares about this girl. I say GOOD for once someone is stepping in and taking these poor innocent children away from this psycho. But it will be short lived, at her next court date she'll get her rights back and we'll be hearing about this again in a month. These kids are going to grow up with such problems if something isn't done now.  (Jan 6, 2008 | post #20)

Prosecutors want tests on teen videotaped

AGREED! I can't believe they are trying to say that this girl had psychological problems. The girl gave birth to the baby and then wrapped it up and hid it. Regardless if it was alive or not she did a sick, sick thing and she deserves to be in jail. Murder is murder whether someone is "crazy" or not they deserve jail and for the rest of their lives.  (Jan 5, 2008 | post #2)
